Nicely shaded sites with a good bit of jungle between them making for great privacy. We stayed in the Coquina Loop which had a centrally located bathhouse that was convenient and clean. The mosquitos were very light late April but the water was too cold to swim (to us). Beautiful beach with fluffy white sand was a hike with chairs and stuff, better with a bike or easiest by car. Playground was dated but safe with baby swings available. 5 minutes from town. Highly recommend.
Very nice little park that is great for a long weekend stay. Wonderfully spacious, shaded sites with a tad of growth between most of them. We were in a 5th wheel on the end in site #24. Recently refurbished, the bath house was spotless and centrally located. Playgrounds had great equipment. Swimming lake was nice and the trails were very well maintained. Waterfall is beautiful and a site not to miss. Highly recommend.
Very nice park with spacious sites that has good shade in a beautiful setting. There was no privacy between the electric sites except the one site we were camping on had 2 fir trees between us (101) and #102. 90% of the stream sites were taken by seasonals. There were two areas for tenters/non electric-an open field in the very back or very shaded area that turned to a muddy mess when raining. I was very happy with my site and even with a 3 day downpour was elevated enough not to be sitting in water. In general the campground is very flat and I can imagine that standing water could be a problem. The playground was well stocked with equipment for all ages and the pool that had a separate kiddie pool and adult-only whirlpool was very nice. The only thing I didn't like were the bath houses. There were too few, not convenient, and downright scary. Overall I would recommend this park and plan on returning myself (with my own shower).
