Very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Price reflects Passport America. We found it very convenient to the outlets, downtown and the beach without paying the exorbitant beach prices. Restrooms and showers were clean, neat, and tidy. Cable TV was OK and Wi-Fi strong. We will stay here again.
To our mind the very best local, state or national park we've stayed at in the past three years. Friendly staff, nice level sites, great Wi-Fi and to cap it all we got to preview the annual Holiday Lights with a 2 mile walk. Spectacular! Would definitely stay here again.
The rate reflects the Passport America discount which makes this friendly campground a steal. The staff advised us to ignore the GPS and provided excellent simple directions. An absolute must see when in Wilson is the Vollis Simpson Windmill Park downtown, which was our primary reason for visiting. We highly recommend this campground.
With a scenic aspect, particularly in the fall foliage season this is a beautiful campground. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive. After a recent bad experience elsewhere we checked the restrooms/showers and laundry on arrival. The restrooms and showers were neat, clean and tidy; as was the laundry. We highly recommend Belden Hill and will return here again.
This is a great campsite, in fact for a City park its excellent. Located in a beautiful setting in Rockwood Park its the perfect place to explore St John (5 minutes away by car) and the surrounding area of Fundy National Park and St Martin's. The back-in RV sites are very wide but a little tight front to back. The 30 amp power was consistent, water pressure great, restrooms and showers (free) clean, and the Wi-Fi was strong at #71 where we were parked. The gentleman who checked us in was a pleasure to deal with, was very knowledgeable about the whole area, and offered some great suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Conveniently close to the Moncton Tidal Bore, Magnetic Theme Park and Hopewell Rocks. Good water pressure at site. Cons: Pay for Wi-Fi, restrooms and showers very dirty and badly in need of an up-grade. One has two choices showers; scalding hot or freezing cold as the water regulator does not work. This happened to my wife and myself.
This is a very picturesque campground overlooking the Bay of Fundy and an excellent spot to visit for a relaxing few days. It has clean restrooms and showers and a nice laundry. Good Wi-Fi but very weak cell coverage (AT&T). We arrived after a particularly wet spell and the ground was still somewhat waterlogged. We would stay here again.
This is the ideal location situated as it is at a juncture that allows one circumnavigate the Cabot Trail in one day and also the Ceilidh Trail in a day; it is about a 90 minute drive from Louisburg. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff who had a pre-assembled package of local area attractions to present to us, they then escorted us to our site #155 which was spacious and level. One aspect of the campground which delighted us was the attention paid to landscaping. The onsite Café serves excellent food, all freshly prepared to order - try the Chowder it's excellent. Wi-Fi excellent, showers have great pressure and the whole restroom ambiance is good and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
