We enjoyed our stay at the Las Vegas RV Resort. However I marked it 9/10 due to lack of staff knowledge of the local transport system. As first time RV'ers and without access to transport we were dependant on the local transport. The transport timetable from Sam's Town that we were given was incorrect and we missed the last time back to the resort and therefore had to pay for a taxi as we had no knowledge of the bus route. There is a direct bus route from WalGreens opp. Sam's Town, that runs every 10 /15 mins straight up Flamingo to the Strip - trip about 30/45 mins.time dependant. Other than that this resort is exceptionally well run, clean and very secure. Very quiet and plenty of room between the RV's.
We camped here during January. It was -8 overnight. Very desolate during the winter months. Lots of gravel and gravel sites. Very little shelter and open to the elements. Staff very friendly and helpful. No access to restaurants. Small shop on site with a few essentials. About 1 hrs. drive to the Grand Canyon from the RV Park.
We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Restrooms and laundry were kept clean. We stayed in a site by the stream. Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room and very clean. You can access the town center via a footpath and bridge - about a 10 / 15 min. walk - restaurants and shops situated nearby.
RV Park Staff very helpful and friendly. Restrooms and laundry clean and in good working order. Park itself is quiet, clean and RV sites concrete slabs. We are first time RV Park users and were pleased with our choice of park. Located close to public transport system which for us without a small vehicle was ideal. Supermarket and fast food outlets within walking distance from park.
