We used this campground as a base camp to do sight seeing and exploring Myrtle Beach. We had a "Beach Site" and they are tight, very tight. They have a covered picnic table and I had to keep moving trailer over in order to be able to open awning. Trailers are packed in like a sardine can, but our neighbors were great, thank goodness. If you do not like crowds or golf carts this is not the campground for you. They do not enforce the licensed driver aspect of driving carts we noticed. The pier is great and the beach was great, even though we did not use them much, as I stated we did sight seeing, as we had not been to Myrtle Beach before. I would probably go to a different campground next time, but if others were not available I certainly would not pass this one up, but there are others nearby that are newer and have a better curb appeal. We stayed here in a 36 foot fifth wheel trailer (with two slide outs), with a long bed crew cab dually, so the parking at the site was tight.

This is one of those campgrounds that you want to tell others to stay away from. Not because it was bad, but because it was one of the best campgrounds I have been at in some time. This was the best I have stayed at in Pigeon Forge. So if I tell you that I will not be able to get a reservation in the future. So, do not stay here. We had a creek side site and it was beautiful, well landscaped and large. We have a 36' fifth wheel with a long bed crew cab dually and had no problem parking all on the site with room to spare. I do believe the pull through and back in sites are smaller than the creek side sites. The management was excellent and extremely friendly. Pigeon Forge is our favorite places to visit and we will be back to this campground, hopefully in October and November. It is across the street from a Main Stay Suite hotel which are owned by the same company. You can use the facilities of the Main Stay Suite if you wish, such as the indoor pool. If you want to be a couch potato while there they have around 98 TV channels on cable. 30 and 50 amp service and well placed hookups. Even those this is a NEW campground the landscaping is beautiful. Trees will come years later as they mature, but my air conditioning and awning will suffice until then, so no problem. I cannot say enough good things about this campground. So, do not go here, stay away, you will not like this upscale campground, that is new and beautiful. Wait until the new wears off and it is overrun with tourists to visit. I really wish I could give this a higher rating.
