We've stayed here twice. This is the only campgrounds that I've rated a 10/10. The people are great. The place is immaculate. As mentioned before, how can you beat free pancakes and coffee on Sunday? We have 2 small children and they never want to leave the campgrounds! You are only minutes from Lake Erie, amusement and water parks, a great zoo. This is now an annual tradition for my family. It's also the most expensive campgrounds that we've stayed in but for 1 weekend a year, it's worth it!
This is a great park for taking in the outdoors. There is not much in the form of activities but the park is great to hike and bike in. The lake is ok for swimming and small boats. There also is a small sandy beach. The showers are old but fairly clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an animal park minutes away that is well worth the admission price. Don't forget to feed the fish at Linesville. The kids love this! This park is only an hour from home so we will be back.
We stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. Thanks to all who stayed there and reviewed this park at RVparkreviews. The staff was friendly and courteous. The security was top notch. The bath-houses were a bit dated but clean. There were quite a few bath-houses spaced throughout the park so there never was a wait for showers. The sites were level and clean, some with sand, some with gravel, and some with concrete pads. Most all were shaded. We could have parked 2 campers and a tent on our site. It was also hard to believe how quiet this park was. Security tolerates absolutely no noise during quiet hours. If you are camping with young children, reserve a spot that is not on the main entrance road, (Blue Jay), as it is heavily traveled most of the day. This would be the only down side of this park. There is a lot of truck, tractor, and equipment traffic almost every day. The side roads are great for the kids to ride their bikes with somewhat less traffic. We go to South Jersey every year and Seashore will now be our only choice!
This place is by far the most rowdy place we've stayed! Quiet hour is supposed to be at 11:00pm but there were parties, radios, vulgar language, and noise heard well passed 12:30 AM. There are no assigned sights for small rv's. There are only a hand-full of full hook-up sights that can be reserved. This means first come, first served. The restrooms and showers were clean and fairly new but there are only 2 of these modern facilities and they were always busy. The out houses that they had randomly placed elsewhere are HORRIBLE! I guess it would be an OK place to camp as a group as long as you could stay together. As a family with small children, we will not be back to this campground! We thought Geneva-on-the-Lake was a pretty cool place. It might be a tourist trap but it was kind of like a blast from the past!
