This is a very nice campground. The volunteer staff was always available if you needed any help. Pull-throughs are a little misleading. They are actually Pull-OFF's off the road. In some sites driver side slides will almost be on the road. We stayed in the North Park. I would suggest making reservations in advance. If you are going to the North Park, you want to get off Highway 65 at Aitkin Lake Road (46.792928,-93.327785). You do not need to go to the main office to pay. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
Typical KOA. It has the amenities that you would expect at a KOA. The only complaint that I had with our site were the trees. A tree was located on both sides of the site. The trees were on the exit end of the site so it was impossible to get out without scraping the sides of the 5th wheel. This problem does not apply to all sites. We will stay there again.
Price based on Memorial Day weekend. Back in was kind of tight. We would have had trouble backing in if there would have been a rig across from us. Park is fairly new, so trees are still small. Side roads/sites are gravel. Very clean. Nice office/restroom/shower/community room building. People were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again.
Level concrete pads. Grass picnic area next to pad with picnic table and fire ring. Very quiet. Shade trees are just getting developed, but will give you enough shade for picnic table. Free transportation to Casino. Good food. Sites are large enough for the biggest rigs. All roads are paved. Easy in and out of sites. Both drive through and back ins. We stay there at least 4 times a year.
Easy to get to from I-90. Wall Drug is about two blocks away. Gravel sites, but level. We were right next to the RR tracks, and a train diesel engine ran all night. Very disturbing. Ask for a site to the left of the office (stay away from the tracks!) We would stay there again.
This place is unbelievable! We stayed in the island setting and had an easy back in. There were a couple sites that might have been a little challenge, but doable. We watched five deer out in the meadow. Our site was nice and level and we had good shade. Call ahead for reservations; it is a popular place. We will definitely stay there again.
This is a very nice place. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There are many trees, but they are arranged so they do not bother RV's. Site was nice and level. Easy access from I-90. We will definitely stay there again.
