This Motorcoach Park is set up so nicely. The clubhouse and its hosts and hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Our site was on the canal. We enjoyed our stay, though brief, very much. We will return in the future.
I was invited to exhibit at the Resort. I can tell you in all honesty, I have never been so impressed with a resort as I am with Riverbend RV Resort. The amenities available to guests and owners are incredible. We were treated wonderfully by all. Thank you very much. It is in our future plan to purchase a site, when the time is right.
I asked for a specific site using the Big Rig Best Bet suggestion, thinking that I would be facing the ocean. I called for directions asking if there was a quicker route and the lady on the phone didn't know and didn't ask anyone else in the office. We arrived very late and found our site on our own. However, after awhile a man in a golf cart did come to ask if needed assistance. In the morning, we headed out to the beach to walk our two dogs. Not one sign was posted saying "No Dogs Allowed". A customer staying directly on the beach waved us down showing us tire tracks in the sand indicating it was the sheriff and we would be given a $500. fine. He also informed us, no dogs are allowed on the sites directly facing the gulf. The women in the office never notified us of either situation. I would NOT recommend staying at this campground ever. It is way over priced and the employees are very close to being rude to customers. It was not worth the price paid.
As of last night, we have stayed in all three of the parks on Music Valley Rd. Of the three, we prefer the Nashville KOA. Although, we only spend one night, we found the park to be very clean, well maintained, with good signage and activities for grandchildren. However, when I made the reservation I requested site L-7, I confirmed this site yesterday on the way in. Unfortunately, we were redirected to site P-1. This site is on the end of the aisle and very hard to get into with the street pole and electric hook-up so close to the sharp turn. Perhaps, the office could put a note on the map to back in and not attempt to pull in. This is our campground of choice and look forward to returning.
This a RV park has appears to rent to the majority full timers. The stench from cigarette smoke permeated the air even outside of our coach. It stunk on the grounds. Although, they were well maintained in the common area. In and around the sites were scary. The Manager on duty watched me walk to the office twice, while he sat in a golf cart two rows from the office. The second time I passed him, I had to ask if he was the Manager. To which, he replied, yes. At that point, I was able to pay for the two night visit. I would not recommend this park to any travelers.
I would not recommend this resort during the summer months, as the pool was like bath water with debris falling from the palm trees into the pool. The site size is very very tight. No grass anywhere to dogs to walk on. People are unfriendly. Said "Good morning" to everyone we passed on the streets, no one person acknowledged. Especially, I said "Hello" to a lady riding a bike, she did not respond. However, as we were walking our two dogs towards the lake area, she yelled out that we are not permitted to walk dogs in this area, only on the perimeter of the property. The perimeter was asphalt and concrete. The website is very deceiving. It is in a very bad looking neighborhood.
This RV Resort is the best we have ever visited. We arrived very late at night, just before 10:00 pm. Our package was available at the office, however, we were met at the office by Dwight, who showed us the way to our site. He offered a flashlight to my husband while hooking up. He was a very pleasant friendly gentleman. This is the first and only time any resort has escorted us to the site and assisted in the setup. The resort is very well maintained and cared for. The lawn is as green as it can get. It is very clean and well marked. The laundry room was very reasonable and clean. It was a pleasure to visit with Lou in the office. We will certainly mark this resort down as a must return to. Thank you Lou and Dwight for such superior service.
A very well maintained and organized RV Resort. All the sites are concrete and level. It is a gated resort as well. The laundry area is clean and not over priced. It is a very welcomed change to have a level site. It is so nice, we changed our travels back east to include the Deer Creek Valley RV Park.
We had Site #21 on the Creekside of the Park. The caretakers, Jim and Shirley are very special people. They are both very friendly and accommodating to your needs. The park is absolutely beautiful. We will make sure to return, when possibble.
