One of the best sites we've been to. Level, concrete sites with double sewer outlets. Great view of the lake. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Very friendly staff.
The site is about 6 miles north of town so look for the sign; it's easy to miss. Friendly staff. The sites are all gravel and fairly level. Pet friendly. Quiet. The cable hook up is only HD so if you have an older TV it will not work. We went to Sam's Club and purchased a new digital TV.
Mostly a community of pre-fab homes. In the center is an gravel area with hookups. Swimming pool seemed nice enough, but the rest of the area was desolate. We thought the name Palms River Resort might give us a view of the Colorado river but no view. We had to walk by people's homes to get a glimpse of the river. The only place for garbage was way up towards the storage facilities; there were no other receptacles available.
The name is misleading. It should be named the Hwy 101 RV Resort. It is not on the beach but a short distance from it. Maybe several hundred yards. It is very noisy from the freeway. The contract states NO REFUNDS. You even have to initial that plus indicate that it IS noisy. I was disappointed.
