This is a very tranquil/off-the-beaten path location. Clean restrooms/showers. The owners were friendly. This isn't a glamorous location (resort in the title is as bit misleading), the clubhouse has seen better days and the pool has been filled in with dirt and boasts quite a few weeds as does the grass around the RV sites. The water hook-ups were insulated with pink insulation and a wooden box top cover. We had to unwind some of the pink insulation to hook up the water. The womens restroom had an alcove after the first door and as the light was burnt out it in the alcove it was mighty difficult to see. All in all a very quiet/tranquil location. There are lots of permanent units here with year-round residents. I can't comment on the golf course as I'm not a golfer.

Immaculate Restroom/Shower. The entire park is gravel/lava rock. There is a nice cement pad for the picnic tables and each site has a lantern light post with the number of the site on it. Leveling blocks are required but the leveling required is nothing that an experienced traveler couldn't handle. While not the worst customer service experience, certainly one of the more terse encounters I've had. "Trish" will tell you that she sick of having to go over the rules with each and every guest. She goes through the litany of regulations and you may feel that you've just signed up for service boot camp...sir, yes, sir! For example: no walking by the edge of the canyon cliff, no walking on the nearby golf course, else a mean little man with funny shoes and a hat will yell at you. I only accept checks and cash, you'll find that that is what all RV parks around the country are switching to...it's just too much hassle. Oh and I charge extra for your dog. Wow! This is a clean, well run location. Just a little too regimented feeling for my taste...but of course that's just my opinion. We stayed one night and I have to say that the scenery was beautiful with the sunset over the canyon.

We stayed here with our Enjoy America membership. The staff was cordial, the restrooms clean, the proximity to the Highway was a bit too close for my taste. However, that isn't why I'm giving this RV park only an average rating...the train coming through and the long horns associated with it, caused me to not be able to get back to sleep the one night we stayed here. If it had only been one or two trains, I could've tolerated it, but I think we had four trains that night. *whew!* Trains and their schedules are certainly not in the control of the owners but it was a distraction to an otherwise restful night of sleep that was hard to ignore. It seems that the pool is being renovated and is closed due to this and only one of the two showering/toilet facilities are open. The shower was fine except for the window screens. The window screens were torn and allowed lots of bugs into the restroom area as it was necessary to vent the area while showering. The open field for the park is fine but doesn't allow for too much in the way of separation between neighbors. This type of RV park is fine for a one night stay.

This was the first campground we stayed in after the purchase of our first trailer/first RV ever. The staff was kind and the park is amazing! We love to go in the Fall to the Yakima area for wine tasting and this location is great for its proximity and for the lavish restroom/showering facilities. The facilities (shower/toilet) are in their own separate rooms and are immaculate! I felt as if I was in my own private spa! Wonderful! There are tasting rooms within walking distance of the park and from what I was told, more tasting rooms will be locating within walking distance very soon. So, you can stroll from your RV site just before supper, go sample some exquisite wines, buy a bottle and pair it with a wonderful supper back at your site! How amazingly perfect is that?! Love it! ;)
