Very friendly and helpful staff, easy people to talk to.Campground was kept very, very clean.Staff seemed to stay on top of all maintenance and did so cheerfully. While we were there strong winds whipped the trees and dropped leaves and a few small branches around. The staff was busy the first thing after the storm removing all traces. No big limbs were dropped, due to the pruning and vigilance of the staff. The fishing was active and exciting as I did not have time to drink a beer because the fish hit my bait with-in seconds of casting out.The pond was small but the fish were eager to bite and fight!A pleasant stay and we look forward to staying there again.A good job to the staff has been earned.Lovely park and shady trees, restaurants with-in walking distance, areas of interest a short drive away.

Somewhere RV Park should be named next to the busy railroad tracks! The trains shook the ground as they passed by , and that was quite often! The only shade was in the rear of the park , where the locals stayed long term. The managers were friendly and informative , ( about the local area ). When we reported a mess in the one and only restroom , we were informed that most campers would have cleaned it up themselves! We had planned a two week stay in the area but left after two days. The site we were in was not level, close to the 4 lane highway and had no shade. The trains shaking the motorhome was the biggest problem , as the area had several interesting historical sites , we would liked to have stayed longer but could not tolerate the noise and shaking. While the website looked attractive , it is very deceiving . We will not return there.

Nice area but very close site , all packed into parking lot style slots. The club house, with exercise room and poo,l was nice. The weight machine kept breaking down and the constant reek of sewer gas prompted us to seek another RV park. The internet signal is so weak you have to go to the office (that reeked of cigarette smoke), or the clubhouse. The view from the west end of the park is beautiful, if you can stand the sewer gas smell. The prices at Lake Havasu City cafes and clubs are higher than most cities of that size, but the locals are very friendly and always seem to have a pleasant word for you. Plenty of shopping and tourist type shops. If you like desert hiking, this is a great destination as there are 100's of trails. You can see wildlife close up and look for gold and precious stones at will. Desert vehicles can be rented by the hour or day, but are expensive. The state parks are GREAT for hiking.

Being "full timers," my wife and I have stayed at many RV parks and resorts. This one is at the very top of the list! Friendly people, polite and just plain NICE. The park is HIGHLY maintained with large beautiful sites, most all have shade trees (mature tall ones) and the nearby creek helps keep the temperature cooler. So many things to do that are close-by, with dinning and clubs, wilderness, Native American ruins and culture. You have to plan your stay and activities to enjoy so much. After a month, we have decided to stay the whole summer and most of the fall. The locals match the attitude and friendship of the RV park's hosts and owners. We have been made to feel right at home here and in the near-by town of Camp Verde. The best food with the lowest prices of anywhere we have been so far. We can not recommend any park more highly than Zane Gray! It's an experience in enjoyment and content. You will not be disappointed.
