We were looking for a park open late in October and in Southern NH. We were greeted by a friendly man which turned out to be the owner. This park is computerized with very good Wi-Fi and Security Gates. Every site has full hookups. The sites are paved, level, with grass and good power and cable TV (more than 50 channels!). There are some seasonals, but all are kept neat and there is a genuine friendly neighborhood feeling. It is apparent. No game room or pool, which was OK by us. Good fishing in the stream. Peaceful and quiet-just like us. If your looking to "party" - this isn't the place! The owners are very friendly and waved "good morning" each day on their daily walks and would take the time to chat. Will come back!
This could be a nice campground. As we turned in, we could see some newer sites, they were just at the entrance, not where we wanted to be. As we drove in, we were greeted by a delapitated cabin across from the pool. At reception, we were greeted by a t-shirted man with food stains and not enough deodorant. No computerized registration here. We only stayed overnight because a group of college kids arrived for a good time. There were many seasonals and generally the place seemed "worn out".
Very nice park, but the sites are VERY close together. The price per night was also very expensive ($125/night), but you have to expect that. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There are many "seasonal" sites, but all are beautifully landscaped. We would definitely stay here again.
