I was very disappointed in this park. We do not agree with the previous reviews. The management was awful, absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were packed into their sites like sardines. Our view was of other RV's and a cement wall, don't stay here if you're claustrophobic. When I went to the office to complain about a dog that barked all night long, I was told by the Park Manager "if you don't like it you can leave, we have plenty of people who want to stay here". The campers that we met were very nice; however, they too said that the manager was awful. That unless you were a very good friend of hers you don't dare cross her or she will throw you out of the park. The park is clean and neat, but I would stay at a Walmart parking lot before staying here again.
We stayed here for 6 nights free after looking at their Superstition Views Casitas. We had a beautiful view of Superstition Mountain. The park is very nicely laid out. We stayed in the short term area of the park. Many of the residents that we met here were very very friendly. The facilities are wonderful. The pools at Superstition Views and Canyon Vistas are beautiful! My only complaint is that the WiFi is terrible! If they could make that amenity better, it would be a excellent park.
This is a gem of a KOA! Nice site size and very, very friendly staff. We had a beautiful view of Superstition Mountain. Nice and clean campground. My only complaint is that the WiFi was less than good. We would stay here again.
This is a beautiful, clean RV park. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. A continental breakfast is offered and on certain days waffles that are put in a toaster are offered. The facilities are very clean.
This is a great campground to stay at, especially for just an overnight. The facilities are extremely clean. I used the washers and dryers and it was a pleasant place to sit and wait. The owner was extremely nice and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
This campground has the cleanest showers and restrooms that I have ever seen. The showers are disinfected after each use. The laundry facilities are cleaner than my own, also wiped out after each use. They also have a little gift shop with prices that are less than any other gift shop in the area. Denali National Park is only 27 miles north of this park.
The view of the Channel Islands, Santa Cruz Island, is beautiful. You are also able to watch the dolphins, surfers, paddle boarders, and fishing boats right from your motorhome. We dry camped right next to the ocean; for a few dollars more you can pay a little extra and hook up to electric, water and sewer. It is a very tranquil spot and we'd love to come back again!
We LOVED this campground! The view is very beautiful; at night you can hear the lions roar from Shambala Preserve just down the road from the campground. The staff is very friendly; the park facilities are very clean; and the location is very private. This is a campground you'd want to go to if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of life.
