The restrooms were full of spiders. The map didn't show the site we stayed in as a full hook up site but it was. We registered after hours and with the map being a out of date we thought we were going to get full hook up and got lucky. The park was pretty though had nice boat ramps and a little sandy beach swimming area. The park made us pay for two site even though we only needed one due to the amount of people we had. We had 10 people with us and 3 of them were babies they told us we still had to pay for 2 sites. We only stayed over night but I would stay here again maybe long enough to enjoy seeing the park.
The staff was very friendly. We stayed here for a week. There was nice shade trees. We never swam in the pool but it looked well kept. Playground for young kids and other stuff (swings, volleyball net, basketball, horse shoes) for the older kids. We chose this site off of what I read on the reviews. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to set up two tents next to the RV. I would stay here again. It was close enough we commuted to Louisville, Bardstown, and Bowling Green.
The park was clean and the staff friendly. We only staid for one night. No trees but the pads were level and made of concrete. I would stay again. If I was going for a camping experience I would stay at a state park though.
