Nice smaller KOA that is very clean and quiet. It does not have all of the activities that larger KOA have for children. We stayed here one night as we passed through the area. We will stay here again.
This park is in great shape since it has recently been renovated. All of the roads and pads are paved and level. The full hook-up sites have new and very nice facility connections with two water connections per site (very nice for black flush). The only downsides are the price (a little expensive) and it is close to the highway. The sites that are located on the pond are a little more secluded, and are the nicest in the park. We will stay here again.
Very nice state park. We stayed in the B loop w/o Hook ups. The Hook up sites look very nice. Like other Oregon state parks they have educational activities for children and adults that are worth going too (We saw the birds of prey show). At first we were leery of the solar showers, but these turned out to be nice. Clean and plenty of hot water. The camp hosts were very friendly as were the rangers.
This is a very well maintained park with large private sites. It shows that the host's and owners are proud of the park based on the appearance The park is rustic and has awesome views of Mt. Adams. It has a small play area with swings and a walking nature trail along Trout Creek. We really enjoyed our stay, and my wife and I think this is the best park we have been too. This is worth the drive (around 2.5 hours out of Portland).
