Great location for visiting the different areas of Olympic NP. The owner was helpful and friendly and had some interesting displays in the office. She was quite knowledgeable about the area. The clutter and old vehicles adjoining the park were being removed during our stay. The RV Park property is well maintained. The older units noted in previous reviews are not part of the Park and should soon be gone. We stayed in the rear section of the Park and felt perfectly safe. There are no toilets or showers, so RVs must be self-contained. There is a large grocery store across the street from the Park. We would stay in this Park again if we return to the area.
We camped here for three nights. The site was an easy pull through for our 65' Freightliner & 5th wheel rig. The staff was friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were clean and relatively new. The tribe has built a covered ramada with picnic tables and a brick grill for outdoor cooking when it's raining. Sites are about 50 yards from a great beach. Sites are separated by wood fences and are large enough for slide outs and awnings with room to spare. There was no playground for kids, but the beach should suffice. Sites and roads are gravel. The pull through sites are level, a few back-ins are a bit slanted.
This is a good place to stay while in the Seattle area, far better than the other parks in the metro area. There are no showers, though there are clean bathrooms. The $44 nightly rate was for a two week stay. Nightly rates for short stays would be higher. No tents are allowed. The issue that lowers the score for us is the $4.95 per day charge for Wi-Fi. One hour per day is free and after the free hour the user must pay. The rates too high for this extra charge.
