The Rate reflects the monthly rate. It is a great park with great personable management. They live on the grounds and make themselves known to one and all. The park now has a new pool, rally room, laundry room and new bath/shower area which were spotless. The sites are easy in and out (pull-through), wide, level gravel with green grass right out side your door plus a picnic table. The cable left a little to be desired (only 16 channels) but the Wi-Fi was strong and very stable. It was able to upload pictures for a blog in record time. All-in-all a good place especially if you like to fish or hunt in season. We will be back.
Friendly, knowledgeable people in the office. Escorted me to my spot. Very long, narrow spots without much apron to turn on. It had rained while we were in the park and we left ruts in the grass going out. Gravel roads have a lot of bumps, lumps and ruts. Wi-Fi worked very well. Very convenient to colonies. Only 3 bathroom and shower stalls for this large park. Shower building is a dark, wooden building with concrete floors. It was very neat and clean. I would stay here again.
Long pull throughs, wide grassy spaces between sites, picnic tables, play area for kids, bar for adults (local hangout), pool, laundry, and all clean and tidy: what is there not to like? The restrooms and showers were excellent and very clean. Roads are gravel, but well maintained. The only negative is that it's close to the freeway: but it's used mostly be freeway travelers so that's a positive. The freeway noise didn't bother us, and as most campers are tired after a day on the road, there are probably few late night parties. Plus it takes Passport America so we really paid about $13. If this was next to a national park instead of between I-80 and a cornfield, people would rave over it and it would be booked a year in advance. We stayed three nights and management could not have been easier to work with. The only drawback is the office does NOT open until noon, but it is open until 10PM.
We stayed over night here on our way to Indiana. First impression coming in the gate was positive. It looked well maintained with nice sites near the pond. We had a reservation and had a site in the rear section. I would have given it a higher rating but the the roads were dirt and very dusty. Also, quiet time was at 11PM but a DJ was playing loud music in the pavilion well after 12PM. I think it was after midnight when the "BOOM BOOM BOOM" finally stopped. The restrooms were NOT clean like their website depicts. The shower only had one water temperature - cold. The wifi was only available in front of the office. We will not be staying here again.
