We booked Treemont several months prior to arrival because it was a good experience for us. Evidently management has changed and rates are going up! Very pricey for what you get. In addition, very tight for big rigs to maneuver and sites are poor quality. We won't go back to this place. Too many other campgrounds that are better quality. Bathrooms are clean and there is a nice pavilion. Wonderful river area and access. But if you want safety for kids and room to move- this is not your campground.
This is a nice campground and family oriented park. Easy to get into (once you survive traffic in ATL) and easy to park. We have been here twice and enjoyed both time. We travel with two teenage boys and they enjoy this campground. Lots to do and see! This is the campground for when you want to entertain and go! Not a relaxing campground, because there is so much traffic in the campground.
Loved this campgound as we stayed here for a week. Nice sites and private. Has a wonderful staff and is simply beautiful. I wish it had a pool, but found a water park close by. Beach area is close, but muddy and little surf for kids. DRIFTWOOD beach is worth coming to this campground. Absolutely stunning place to see. Super close to Saint Simons Island for the restaurant and shopping. If you want privacy, bike trails and time with your family - this is your campground!
Hands down- this is my favorite campground. Huge sites, very private and quiet and wonderful staff. Host and crew will accomodate you in any situation you find yourself in. Nice pool, beach area, playground, wonderful creeks and trails to explore! We camp here at least 3 times a year. Not because this is our only choice, but because we cant find another campground that exceeds what this campground offers. We have two boys and this campground is SAFE and allows them to play and be kids. We can't find that in State parks. This campground is our home away from home. It's a place where host knows you by name and your are welcomed as family. We love it!
This campground saved our family vacation. We were leaving out to another campground in South Carolina when the campground called and were unable to accomodate our week long vacation. We contacted HHH and were welcomed immediately. Our site was the nicest site we have ever had! It had a waterfall and private area for dining. Double space and fully paved. We are new to camping ( 4 years) and were able to get in and out of space as well as campground without any difficulty! This campground is very quiet and private, but still perfect for families. Everyone was incredibly nice including staff and owners. I would highly recommend this campground and plan to go back again!
