Although the park had many amenities the very "hot" electrical service was not acceptable. Our digital meter read 136 volts at our site. We tested on our only neighbor's site and got a reading of 138 volts. We went to the office to see if they were aware of the issue and were told to "talk to the electric company.". At that point we asked for our check back and moved on. As they are a Good Sam Park I have reported this issue to Good Sam.
We stayed at Red Rock for a week and did not find any of the problems the previous reviewer mentioned. We found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful. We had friends joining us who were late due to rig problems and the staff worked diligently to accommodate them. We had no noise, campfire or dog problems. We will recommend this park to all our full-time RVing friends.
For a self-contained RV, this is a very good value for the money. The only downsides for us were the road noise and lots of mosquitoes. A big positive for us - with permission, we were allowed to wash our RV for no extra charge.
We agree with the previous reviewer. The "B" sites only had 30 amp service & were not level. The "A" sites did have 50 amp services, but were quite small. The dump-station was in an unusual, un-level location. There was also a significant amount of highway noise from I-94.
