I just gave this park a 5 rating because I think it is overly priced for what you get. Forget about using your satellite dish for TV. Too many trees. The only place you might have satellite reception is in the front spaces and they close those off the end of Oct so they can turn the water off and prevent freezing. Then they can charge you for using their cable TV. I stayed here for 5 weeks for a job and the site they put me in was a back-in and not very level. I had to block up and still could not get completely level but it sufficed. $750/mo plus the electric plus your cable TV. It is fairly convenient to Baltimore and all the help was friendly.
This is a nice clean, quiet and roomy park. Well maintained and the owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. Blacktop roads and mostly level gravel pads. My only problem was with the Wi-Fi. They have Wi-Fi but you have to be standing next to the office to use it. They have areas with shade trees but I chose a clear area so I could use my satellite dish. The laundry room is clean and has fairly new appliances. I did not use the showers/public rest room facilities so I cannot comment on them. There is a Wal-Mart Super center less than a mile away and plenty of restaurants nearby. It is off the beaten path so there is no road noise. Overall, I enjoyed this campground because it is roomy, quiet and well maintained. Good place for an over nite or long term stay.
This is a mobile home park with approximately 16 sites available for RV parking. This is not a good overnight stop as it is not very easy to find or convenient to any Interstate Highways. This park is more for extended stays like workers in the area. I had a temporary assignment in the area and the reason for my stay. They do have laundry facilities and convenient to Wal-Mart down the street. They do charge per kw/hr for electric plus your lot fee. Wi-Fi is available but I didn't use it. I would stay here again but only if I were working in the area.
If you're looking for peace and quiet this is definitely not the place for you. This park lays just to the east of Oceania Naval Air Station and is right in the flight path of all the Navy fighter jets taking off. It can get so loud that you can't hear the TV or carry on a conversation with someone. While I realize that this jet noise is the sound of "Freedom", it can become very annoying. If not for that, I'd give this park a rating of 10.
This is an old KOA Campground with too many permanent residents. Lots and lots of big trees makes satellite reception next to impossible. They advertise Wi-Fi but unless you're right next to the office you won't get it. Owners and staff were nice. Gravel lots and some paved roads but when it rains it becomes a mess. OK for on overnight stay. Would not want to stay here for an extended period.
This must be McClain County, OK's best kept secret. I've lived in these parts for 30 years and never knew this RV Park existed until I found it on RVparkreviews. Excellent overnight or extended stay. Pay is by honor system. For extended stay beyond two weeks walk across the street to the Golf Course Club House and make arrangements and pay reduced rate. Paved pads and drives with picnic tables. Restrooms and laundry available but no showers. Across the street is the golf course and public swimming pool. City lake and park adjacent to the RV Park. Quiet and not crowded. I will definitely stay here again.
Great place for overnight or extended stay. Gravel roads with concrete pads. Fairly new park as trees have been planted but not large enough yet to provide shade. There are no restrooms or shower facilities. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Miss Scarlets Restaurant is the office and is a great place to eat, especially the catfish special on Friday nights. The RV Park sits down the hill west below the restaurant within walking distance and cannot be seen from the interstate. Large hiking and bicycle trails adjacent to the park. I would definitely stay there again!
