Wonderful location and great facilities in this park. Two sections to this park, the lower section with smaller sites but close to game room (barn), store, pond w/beach and the upper section that is heavily wooded with very large sites and with another pool (2 total in park). Both sections look nice and would stay in either. Store is well stocked and the staff is quite friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice park with good sized sites and great family recreation activities. Wide open spaces and the nearby river added to the scenic beauty. Price seemed a bit steep but the facilities (pool, mini-golf, store, etc.) were great and the staff was wonderful. We stayed in late September during the first of their Halloween weekend events and our children loved the early trick-or-treating that was going on. Would definitely come back again.

This park has a beautiful setting on Lake Champlain and is only 1 mile to the Sandbar State Park which has a sandy beach. The park has lots of space, most sites seem to be quite shady and the staff was very friendly. There aren't many facilities (pool was nice, gameroom run down) but that's not why we were there. Many seasonal campers here and we only stayed 2 nights but were treated very well. We would definitely stay here again.

Very easy access to all sites on Mt. Desert Island. Super friendly staff and beautiful scenery & waterfront location. Evenings walking around the rocks near the water was wonderful. The bathrooms have to be the cleanest, nicest we've seen. We'll definitely stay here again on a return visit.

Quiet and small, this campground is really nothing more than a wooded section of land near the water. Very rocky coast with nice view of harbor and lobster boats. Nothing to do however with no facilities and a complete muddy mess if it's raining. We were in a 28' MH and almost got stuck in the mud. Bathrooms were poorly lit and filthy. Anything larger than our rig would have had much trouble manuevering in this park.

Tight spots but a nice campground for a quick overnight stay. The beach across the road is nice and the staff is extremely friendly. Owner of the park even drove my family of 5 to a nearby restaurant for dinner and gave his cell number to call when we were ready to return - nice touch. Many seasonal and full-time guests with transient sites next to the road.
