Very nice shady treed sites up in the back part. No phone service for Verizon, but there is minimal broadband for our air card. Roomy sites . We were only there 2 days, but if in area again would like to spend at least a week.
I think this park with it's out of level sites, which are hard to get to, was very disappointing. When we were there, the host and PA park central both told us of a boil water notice. Bugs were released overhead to control the Gypsy moth infestation. Billions of them mistook my wife and I for their target. The roads surrounding blue knob are tough to maneuver, but we escaped after our stay was up. Never to return. Oh, and the electric kept popping on and off. I can only assume that was bug overload. Imagine a hilly field with power poles.
Not bad for a few days. Easy in and out.Everything worked and was a nice area. No palm trees or bricked pads but level sites which were easy to enter and leave. The campground sign coming from the north guided us through a boat storage area and a worker said to go over the new bridge and make the first right turn. The new bridge looked quite lovely at night all lit up in blue overtones.
Would not consider it a resort campground. Roads were worn, shale, and muddy at sites. 30 amp breaker kept popping when microwave was used but for the cheaper rate when we were there it was adequate. Nice area which is why we stopped there.
Decent park. The owner is striving to remodel. The rate for our pull through site was $45 reg and for the Memorial day holiday $55. Although the price seemed a bit high it is a short season in the area. It's a pretty area to explore and the people at the campground were nice. If in the area we would go back.
Great park in a nice area. A bit of truck noise but bearable. Our site was about 2' unlevel side to side but not bad. Everything else was top shelf. Nice check in and great owners. We will return next year. One of the best we've visited.
Nice park with W+S+E and a large concrete pull through. Great host and the park was very clean. Nice place for 3 or 4 nights. Would prefer the water front back in sites even though they have no sewer, but they were flooded during our stay.
The site we were on was tight for our fiver but was called a 43 ft. Luckily we bring extra hoses as the spigot was halfway in the woods. It was rather narrow, but the worst part was the side to side leveling was at least 6" off. It's a clean park with nice hosts and very quiet but then again it's only May. Wouldn't go back, but for small trailers it's ok.
