We stay at this KOA every spring and they continue to improve it. There is a playground and nearby basketball courts to keep the kids busy, along with bike rentals. The staff is always very nice and helpful. Part of our group stayed in the "lodge" - their newest cabin. It was top notch: kitchenette, shower/toilet, new beds, and bedding included. The location is convenient to all of the theme parks in the San Diego area.
Terrific KOA - shady sites with grass between. We stay here whenever our stopover lands us in Richfield. Clean bathrooms, nice pool, laundry area is nice and big with a pool table to help pass the time. My kids played mini-golf and rented a bike. Staff was very pleasant. ATV trail entrance at the back of the park and lots of campers have ATVs, but you hardly notice them since they can't ride through the campground. We'll be back.
We loved this campground! Beautiful setting with tall shade trees and campsites along the river. Some of my family has been camping here for years, and now I see why. The sites are gravel and pretty level, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The store has basic groceries and gas, along with some cook to order food and fresh pies, and the owners are great. It's a short walk to their pond with paddle boats. There is only one shower, but it was available the times I went to use it. Some of our group stayed in two of the cabins - clean and comfortable. It was a nice option for those without an RV. We had 5 campsites and 2 cabins to accommodate our group (18 in all), and we all would stay here again.
We stayed here one night as we were passing through visiting family in Delta. There are a lot of full-timers here and a lot of the campground is pretty run down. Bathrooms and showers were okay. I think it's the best choice in town, but would not choose to stay here if we had another choice. Office staff was very nice. Short walk to view the river.
This campground was very nice. Nice, level sites with shade trees. We stayed in one of their extra long "buddy" spots. The bathroom was beautiful; it has to be the nicest I've seen anywhere. We would definitely stop here again.
This park is located with sites going up the hillside so it provides a beautiful view for watching the sunset. In spite of it being on a hill, the sites were surprisingly level. Bathrooms are clean and private but as someone else mentioned, you end up walking up hill one way or the other depending on where your site is. Sites don't have fire pits or individual BBQ grills, but they do have grills located elsewhere for use. Wifi was spotty, but we weren't in camp much so it wasn't a big deal. The hotel rooms aren't much to speak of for the price according to someone that was with us.
The staff was very nice upon arrival and escorted us to our site. We spent several nights here. They have an ice cream social and movies nightly. The sites were level and we had lots of shade in the area we were in. The pool and playground were clean. The bathrooms were always clean no matter what time it was, which was nice. The owner makes pizzas nightly and offers free delivery to your site. Not all sites have fire pits, ours didn't, but we were able to use the BBQ grill instead. It was not ideal, but it worked. The location is not far from town. In early morning you could hear some highway noise from where we were, but it wasn't too bad. We would stay here again.
There was no shade at any of the sites. Lots of gravel and dirt - very dusty. Bathrooms weren't great. Two of the stalls were out of paper and the floor in the shower stalls had lots of hair - more than should be there if they cleaned the floors every day in my opinion. The staff members at check-in were very nice. The park was fairly empty, yet they put someone right next to us which didn't make a lot of sense to me. The playground was okay. We didn't use the pool because of thunderstorms but it looked clean. Not sure if we would stay here again.
Tall trees at most sites. Pool was nice with some shade to sit in if you weren't swimming and wanted to get out of the sun. Wifi didn't work at our site, we had to walk to the office to get a good signal. Ice cream social every evening - root beer floats or ice cream sundaes. Lots of full-timers but their sites were nicely landscaped and clean. Staff was very helpful and polite. We would stay here again while passing through.
This is a great park with plenty of space between spots and very clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We were there Easter weekend and they had several fun activities planned for the kids, and plenty of staff on hand to interact and assist when needed. WiFi worked well. Fire pits are first come, first serve but we did not have a problem getting one when we arrived (aside from the delay in it being delivered to our site). We would stay here again.
