An okay place, but it felt more like a parking lot with a lot of trees around. They have A LOT of tent sites crammed into one area, and there were no views of anything pretty at our particular site. My big peeve was that the showers did not have doors. Only a curtain separating you and the other campers waiting in the flooded bathroom. From our particular site it was a trek getting to the bath house too. Also many of the sites don't allow dogs, but others did. That was disappointing as my husband and I love to bring our dog with us camping. I mean, where else can we bring him then? There are some pretty lakes in the area so it was OKAY, but I won't be back.
Nice campground. We have been here many times before because they have sites right on the Bear River. You can kayak or tube from a few sites or swim at their beach area. Traffic noise is a bit loud. But a fun place! We'll be back!
If you plan on visiting this campground with a large group of people I recommend finding somewhere else to stay. My husband and I recently stayed with a group of friends and had a horrible experience. The owners were rude, unreasonable, condescending and literally shouted obscenities at us when our group did not immediately get in our tents during their quiet hours. I have never been treated so rudely in my adult life and will never return. The majority of our group left a day early rather than let the owners continue to be confrontational. I am very disappointed.
