They charge $3 a day for cable, we have traveled 6,000 miles and this is a first. If you like fear mongering Fox News, they have that but not CNN. It is from satellite and last night it continually dropped off and did a lot of stuttering. Internet is terrible, have to log on constantly. Small pool services the motel and the campground, so it is full of children all the time. Laundry $2.00 load.
Very convenient to Little Big Horn. This is the prairie and it is in an open area out in the sun. Pleasant staff, everything neat and clean. We could get ABC and CBS with antenna. Internet worked well.
Clean individual bathroom/showers. Nice Grill/Restaurant within walking distance. Convenient to Glacier. Red Bus tour is not worth the money. You can do the drive to Many Glacier Lodge on your own. Lodge is worth the trip for the setting and the back in time pics on the wall to the DR. Great farmers market on Tues afternoon/evening in White Fist. Delightful town. Also liked Big Fork. Don't ask you GPS where Costco in Kalispell is, will take you to a hearing aid store on the other side of town. It is across the street from Wal-Mart.
Price reflects tax etc. Top notch. Restrooms are your own room with shower, sink and toilet. On the river with all the amenities. Even have chairs at the riverbank. Would like to have spent more time there, but had to move down the road. Very helpful staff. Restaurant within walking distance.
Had the nose of the motor home looking over at the river with the city of Little Rock and the Presidential library on the other side of the river. Bridge is there and just minutes away from everything. All gravel, neat and clean. Great asset to the area.
Big sites, heavily wooded, great staff, good roads and convenient to Anacortes. Great in every way. Excellent restaurants in town and they give you a good printout of what is where and what to do. Lots of cable channels and good Wi-Fi.
You are on the banks of the Columbia River, but this sliver of land is wedged between the main highway and the train tracks. Dozens of trains day and night come through: crossing is nearby so lots of whistle blowing. No antenna or satellite reception. Convenient location to Stevenson: had a great brunch at the Skamania Lodge a short distance away. Great view from the Lodge. There are lots of campgrounds around if you know the names of the little towns around. Oregon is across the river and a nice boat ride is available from Cascade of the Locks: a lovely little town across the river.
Good remote campground. You have to drive 3 miles UP a good mountainous winding road. Very well maintained and friendly staff. Sites that are wooded do not have sewer, those with sewer are more like a parking lot. No antenna or satellite reception, internet access was good.
Great pool and playground, activities everyday for children and adults, staff everywhere. I could go on about their attributes, but this group has their act together, and we have stayed in a lot of campgrounds. Great spot for a stop over or extended stay. Convenient location to local sightseeing and shopping.
It's totally infested with swarms of mosquitoes, therefore can't use the picnic table in the evenings. Very noisy all hours of the night. Rules say no generators after 10pm, but nothing about late night parties or tents being erected with hammering in the middle of the night. Since you only have 20 amps, can't run the air-conditioning or heat to go to sleep and can't run the generator so you need windows open at least part of the evening and night. Gas at the hotel across the street is $3.53 gal, gas in the park $3.07 gal. Laundry room was clean: $2.00 wash.
Has new owner: now Jackson Hole Campground. Totally full as are all the campgrounds. New owners working on improvements: sites are flat with some trees. Excellent cable TV with lots of channels. Internet good, but a little slow. Our GPS was not totally accurate as to the location on Moose Wilson Rd. Fire rings are fun at night and they sell wood at the store. Close to a grocery store. Convenient to many places for sightseeing.
Don't even think about using GPS to get here. We used our and ended up on a dead end street had to unhook jeep to turn around. Residents on street said it happens all the time. When we finally got to campground they said 'oh ya GPS doesn't work to get here'. Should definitely be put in their ads. Level sites - very clean nice place. Convenient to Costco, Antelope Island/Great Salt Lake, and other shopping. Nice pool. Cable selection is minimal - get CNBC, but not CNN. Thought that was strange.
This is a very remote area, but convenient to Monument Valley. The nearest grocery store or drug store, is 50 miles away, so be prepared. There is NO TV reception at all with antenna. Scrabble game was convenient. Nothing else here to do. Does have some small shade trees.
This park has great level, shaded sites. There is a nice grocery store 1/2 block away. Can walk anywhere in town on sidewalks. Has a nice pool and laundry room. Everything was convenient. Has good internet reception.
