What's not to like? Sun or shade sites, view or not. Good space between sites. Great facilities. Walking distance to restaurant, ice cream, lobster pound, and camp store. Reasonable rates for the area. Wi-Fi worked great. We will stay here again the next time.

We picked this at random, following the sign from US 1. Clean, overall nice, lots of stuff for children. Very few non-seasonal sites, most sites really close together, except for the ones in the trees. There's a pool and a pond. Wi-Fi worked fine, TV reception was limited. Showers were hot, clean, and free. (We had pay showers everywhere in Canada).

With tax this was $43, much too high for what we got (2 way overnight). Bathrooms/showers were clean ($0.50 for a shower) but were unheated (it was raw and cold even this late in June). You will need leveling for most sites. Only about 50 sites are for travelers-the rest are seasonal full time setups. Wi-Fi worked OK, TV reception marginal. This was the most we paid for a site in NS.

The previous review is accurate, but the park website said they'd have oysters, crab, and lobsters cooked for sale. Maybe we were too early in the season, but none of that was true. We reserved this campsite in the hopes of having lobster every day. The mgr. said we should visit the local co-op and buy our own and cook it ourselves-but we don't pack any pots large enough. Also, what is it with paying for showers? Isn't $30/night enough without paying $1 extra for a 5 min. shower? We were disappointed.
