Again--A nice campground with many well-spaced sites, good location, and one of the better Wi-FI services. BUT if you plan to take a shower in the bath house, be prepared. There is no way to control the temperature of the water--just timers on the wall. The water might be warm or cool or deviate as you shower. They used to have coin operated showers and replaced the mechanism with a timer but did nothing to the mixing valve. If you want a showering adventure, be prepared.

Grassy sites. We had a view of the small lakes on site. Clean showers, good Wi-Fi, close to town. A good choice for large or small RVs.

Nice park. Since it was designed in the 1960s make sure you request a larger site if you are over 35'. Good Wi-Fi, very clean showers, nice owners.

The park is riverside, but if you have a large MH or fifth wheel with multiple slide-outs it would be best to request a larger pull-through. If you have small kids, pick a spot away from the river. If you have a dog, keep him on a lease and away from the grassy area near the river. That area is for the folks to view the river, not to get their shoes "fertilized." I would have given the park a "ten" if there was hot water available in the showers and if cable TV was available to the sites, not just the TV room. (The staff seemed a little indifferent about the luke-warm water in the showers two nights in a row)

The people here are tremendous. The battery in my Jeep died and the owners drove me to the nearest place to get a replacement. Such service! Even though South Fork Campground does not have cable TV, there is plenty to do outside the RV.

This was our third stay at Pagosa Riverside. It is convenient to town and the people are friendly and business-like. The road noise is barely audible especially if you are camped on or near the river. I highly recommend this campground.

The United Campground provided ample room for my 33' motorhome with two slides. A big bonus was the free trolly that went to town each day starting at 7:00 AM. The only minus in the whole park--which is common in so many RV parks--is the moldy, soiled shower curtains. (All park managers should be forced to shower in their own RV park facilities once a week) The trains going through the middle of the park each day was a hoot.
