Had a free 3 night stay via a promotional program from my RV dealer. Campground was extremely crowded, and sites are very close together. All hookups were at the rear of the site, which makes it a bit challenging for a 5th wheel to hook up. Had a motor home in the site directly behind mine. There was about 6' between us. A lack of parking areas for the tow vehicles made for a difficult time backing into the site. TV's were parked along the narrow access road, leaving about 1-1/2 car widths to maneuver in while backing into the site. Not my style of camping, but it was free. Other than that, the staff was friendly, the campground was clean and plenty of activities if you have children.
Overall we were happy with this campground. Spacious sites with room for big RV's, and plenty of room between sites. Far enough away from Hwy16A that there was no traffic noise. My only issues were relatively minor. The only restrooms they have are closed for 1-1/2 hours for cleaning. That is an excessive amount of time to clean a total of 4 shower stalls and 8 toilets. My other gripe was with the gal at the check-in desk. She does not like anything out of the ordinary. We showed up early (before check in time) and she was pretty rude to us about it. We explained that we understood we were early, and weren't expecting to be able to pull into our site if it wasn't ready. It just took us less time than expected to get there. Eventually she calmed down. I'm sure early arrivals aren't that unusual, and more courtesy could be shown to paying customers. Aside from those couple of things, it was a good stay. Would definitely stay there again.
