We love to camp here in the summer and in the winter time. We stay here when we go to Hershey park for their Christmas events. It's a great place to camp with kids. The pool and playground are very nice. The whole place is clean, even when it is crowded. They have an awesome shuttle service that takes you to different places in Hershey. It picks you up at the front of the campground and takes you right to the park. It comes at different times, so there's always a shuttle that you can catch!
This is a fabulous place if you are camping with kids. They always have lots of activities to do. They have a huge pool, inflatable slides, a jumping pillow, hayrides, an indoor basketball court, ice cream shop, and a mini golf course. Everything is clean and neat. The staff is very friendly. The roads are paved so they are nice for bike riding. There's a nice pet area if you camp with your furry friends. We camp here for short amounts of time as we only live 10 miles from the campground. It's a great getaway!
The front office staff was very friendly upon check-in. The park itself, though, need a great deal of TLC. We stopped there because we saw that they had a water slide and we were traveling with 2 children. What they fail to mention online is that the slide is only open on the weekends. We were there on a week day. There is no cable TV and only a very limited signal. Some of the sites were overgrown. The playground was not very nice. We did enjoy the pool. It was OK just for a one night stay.
This was a great campground! There were so many activities that we didn't have time to do all of them while only staying for 3 nights and wanting to see the sights in Cherokee. We did enjoy the pool, the hayride with Yogi, the playground, the arts and crafts, the movie, and, most of all, the tubing down the river! The people were very friendly and courteous. The only reason I did not give this park a rating of 10 was because there were a few times when our power would get so low that we couldn't run the AC or anything else. When we had them look at it, they said that since it's on an Indian reservation, they would not come out an fix it after complaining about it for 2 years. It's not the campground's fault, but it's something that we had never experienced before. It turned out to be OK after we agreed on turning off certain things and our neighbors did the same. We really enjoyed our time at Yogi in the Smokes and will definitely return when we visit Cherokee again. It was definitely worth the trip!
I've been camping since I was a kid and now I'm camping with my husband and our children. Gulf Breeze RV Resort is one of our favorite places of all time. There was a very nice man who kindly took my reservation about 6 months before our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by more friendly people in the office and were introduced to everything in the area since we'd never been to the Gulf before. The sites were spacious, the paved driveway and pads were great. There are 2 swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The outdoor pool was great for kids, as it was not very deep in the most shallow part. Both pools were well kept. There were 4 washers and dryers in each bathhouse so you didn't have to haul your laundry to one location. The price of the laundry was reasonable. The park was very clean. It's convenient to everything the Gulf coast has to offer. We liked it so much that we will return with our entire family in 2 years!
