We arrived quite late, and office was still open awaiting late arriving reservations! Despite the fact she had no space available the first night, she went out of her way to accommodate us, placing us in a "dry camp" area, but allowed us to hook into 50 amp service at an adjoining site (still only charged us $6 "dry camp" fee the first night. ) Rules are pretty "laid-back", but we found it to be quiet despite most of the residents were "off-road" enthusiasts. Primarily a Passport America campground, dirt roads and sites, but we had plenty of room for slides and toad. Beautiful views of mountains (snow capped and rock), and well off road with large horse arena next door. We will stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in late in the middle of nowhere. $5 water key (refundable) deposit, roads (narrow) and sites (large) were dirt, but generally level. Quiet, although some residents were up quite late. Didn't hear any barking dogs until next morning well after wake-up. Staff (at Inn) was very friendly. Showers clean and large, but only two with curtain separation from restroom. We would stay again.

Absolutely the worst value for our dollar I have ever encountered. We arrived at 4:45, after going into the park and finding no space available inside, and the office was closed. Hours posted were 8a-6p, but another camper also at the office door said he had been there 3 nights and the staff was never there until 6pm. Only 2 of the 5 restroom/showers were open and they were in terrible shape-we refused to use them. My wife was very unsettled when she saw the sign in the restroom informing campers not to visit them unattended after dark. If we hadn't had our 90 yr old grandmother with us we would have dry camped ANYWHERE. We saw perhaps a dozen campers enter, check rates and leave. The only previous post I saw that I did not experience was that our only option was cash or check, no credit card option. We will never stay here again, and would NEVER recommend this campground. 37' motorhome with toad.

We arrived minutes after the office closed, and our reservation was not on security gate computer. The security supervisor was moderately rude, but we were able to convince him our reservation was legitimate and we were provided the site we reserved (not level, but paved). We were not provided the restroom key, which we later had to pay a $5 (refundable) cash deposit for. Mostly permanent or long term residents, but very clean, quiet and security was 24 hr. No cable, but satellite worked fine, and staff in office VERY apologetic about reservation mix-up. One shower room was left very messy by thoughtless occupant in front of us, but generally very well maintained, nice and large individual rooms. 37' motorhome with toad.

Very nice park, friendly staff, exceptional shower and restroom facilities (individual rooms, large, included bench in shower) that included laundry and lounge with sofas and reading material. Next to hwy (Alt 50) but we weren't disturbed by noise. Pull-thru sites side-by-side, but angled and not intrusive to neighbors. Very clean and quiet. 37' motorhome with toad.

We spent one night on Passport America, and checked in late after calling from the road. Our campsite info was in the late arrival box (credit card number MOSTLY lined out, would have preferred it completely eliminated!), roads (very wide) & sites (plenty of room for slides) were gravel and generally level, with grass at site. Restrooms were inside laundry room, individual and very clean, but no soap or paper towels. Also nice rec room. Generally quiet, with several permanent or long-term campers. We will stay here again.

Remote campground similar to forest service site, well shaded, quiet and well maintained, particularly the bath/shower rooms, which were individual and roomy. Sites and roads were dirt/gravel. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent location for visiting nearby attractions. We camped here in a 37' MH with toad.

Older, wooded and very well kept campground, with exceptionally friendly owners. The restrooms were older but sparkling clean. A nice camp store with a good selection of both necessities and gifts native to the area. Sites were roomy with gravel pads, plenty of room to maneuver, and pull thru's. Nice 24 hour laundry with phone and lounge. Camped in 37' MH with toad in 2005.

Friendly staff, and very clean restrooms and showers, although the showers lacked a private dressing area. Several long-term residents, dirt roads and sites, no shade. Lots of room for maneuvering and rabbits everywhere. Very windy during our visit. Camped in 37' MH with toad.

Exceptional park! This park is extremely well maintained with paved roads, grass sites with rock RV site. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and when our neighbor (obviously new 5ver with limited knowledge of functions-took them 15 minutes just to back under and hook up when leaving!) dumped sewage from his black tank onto our lawn (when he threw the sewer hose when disconnecting) and onto his rock pad, they responded immediately and cleaned up the mess and disinfected the entire area (and still smiled?!) Campsite was very quiet except for the wolves howling at night. ( Incredible! They were at the nearby display) and making this a wonderful experience. Despite our lack of reservations, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and allow us to remain in the same site for 4 nights, juggling other reservations to do so. Rest/shower rooms were limited in size, and had to wait one morning for both shower (2) and single stall toilet, but were sparkling clean and furnished (looked new).

Park was generally quiet despite being next to hwy. We found the help to be friendly, but out of sight. Several long-term folks in residence. We experienced only one loud and inconsiderate late returning camper (next door). Another neighbor from Arizona (sun bird) stated they have camped here several summers (month at a time) and the campground has recently changed hands. They said they have observed a lack of maintenance since (it was fairly obvious that limited effort given general maintenance). We experienced plugged drains in the showers in each bathhouse (mens and womens). We camped in a 37' MH with toad.
