What I’m looking for in a campground is easy big rig access, full hookup at 50 amp, level sites, secure area, and clean restrooms. Drive-through, Wi-Fi, and cable TV are bonus features which are much appreciated. I have no interest in a pool, a dog run, or kids' activities. I’m here to see sights in the area and the campground is simply a place to park my 37‘ trailer. I had no trouble with the roads to the campground but be aware that they are county roads and NOT interstate highway width. There are no shoulders or emergency stops lanes. Regardless of which direction you come a one lane bridge must be crossed. It is sound and plenty wide. Exiting the campground is a bit sporty as most locals do not adhere to posted limit and fly over the hill to the left when exiting. I posted my wife at the top of the hill when we left to give me an all clear before pulling out. The owner is a friendly, helpful gem! With her guidance we made a safe trip into Philly on the train and saw other sights in the area. Very helpful! On the down-side, I'd agree with a previous review that the restrooms are dated. That's my only ding for this campground but since that's one of the primary things I'm looking for, it's a big ding. The Wi-Fi is solid and fast! The cable TV is clear. The electric is solid and the water is good. The interior roads are fine as well although since I had a site at the front I didn't travel the back part of the campground. Yes, I'd stay here again.

What I’m looking for in campgrounds is easy big rig access, full hookup at 50 amp, level sites, secure area, and clean restrooms. Pull-through sites, Wi-Fi, and cable TV are bonus features which are much appreciated. I have no interest in a pool, a dog run, or kid’s activities. I’m here to see sights in the area and the campground is simply a place to park my 37‘ RV at a reasonable price. There was easy access, good power, level sites, and the restrooms were okay. They were cleaned regularly and a sign said they were recently remodeled. I think they should have expanded the crapper stalls in the remodeling. They were a bit tight and I'm not a big person. The laundry is awesome. They rent driving CDs of the battlefield - awesome. I felt their price was a bit on the high side but I'd consider camping here again.

I’m here to see sights in the area and the campground is simply a place to park my 37‘ 5th wheel. Previous comments I've read about this campground indicated this campground was built into a hillside, and I agree. But, I must say it is terraced with many very level sites. Some of the pull through sites have a hump for entry or exit which is no good for me as I'd be scraping the rear of the camper on rock. The site I had was flat (no hump), and I was able to easily get to the site (pull-through )and set up with no problems. The pool was still winter covered when we were there, but I would not have used it anyway. Looks like pool could be nice with nearby playground in summer. Laundry was very adequate. There is a front section and a back section to the park. The front (newer section) does not have mature trees which is fine with me. The back section has many trees and narrow access roads that I would prefer NOT to try to park in. For the most part these were not pull though sites. The staff was very courteous and friendly and allowed me to see my site before pulling in. I felt the nightly price was a bit much. As far as "next times" I think I'd shop a bit more before staying here again.

The pull through was no problem but leaving the campground site needed some planning as low hanging trees and maneuverability was something to consider. Personally, I had no problem. The campground was quiet and nestled in among tall trees and easy access to the interstate. I'd camp here again.

The price is much lower than I expected but was due to possible outages of services during construction. Actually, other than wi-fi and cable TV outages we didn't encounter any outages. The bathouse and laundry is brand-new as I'm guessing everything was lost in 2007 Hurricane Irene. The dune cross-walk to the beach is brand new, and even though it was cool weather I used it many times in our stay. The campground was nearly empty during our stay. If it had been a full campground, the pulling into a campsite and pulling out could have been a bit of a challenge. I'm sure my review would be different during summer or after construction.

What I’m looking for in campgrounds – Easy big rig access, full hookup at 50 amp, level sites, secure area, and clean restrooms. I’m here to see sights in the area and the campground is simply a place to park my 37‘ 5th wheel. Easy in and easy out although the exit was a bit pot hole rough. Power was good, level sites, secure, clean but small restrooms. The wi-fi was reliable. The access roads were asphalt and the sites were gravel with a picnic table and fire pit.

Not the campgrounds fault, but mine for late reservations. The sites were level. The access roads were dirt as mentioned by other reviewers. Not a problem to me. Restrooms have an access code which made me wonder about security but I saw nothing to make me feel uncomfortable. They were clean even though we had rain during my stay. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

We were not present on the weekend so it's unknown what that's like. Easy access and I had a 100' pull thru site with a concrete patio. I'd stay here again.

We are looking for a secure campground with level sites that are big rig friendly. Our 5th wheel is 37' with a slide on each side and the pull thru site we were assigned was excellent. We are not looking for a lot of extras as we camp and see the area rather than camp and chill in the campground. The speed umps are a little annoying but they do keep the speed down. The wi-fi connectivity was intermittent but not a "biggy" to us. I'd stay here again.

What I'm looking for in a campground is easy big rig access, 50 amp connection, level site, secure area, and clean restrooms. Pull through sites, Wi-Fi, and cable are bonus features appreciated but not required. I have no interest in pool, dog run, or kids activities. This campground met all of my requirements and had all the bonus features I mentioned although I did not use the Wi-Fi. It was easy access from I-95. Trees were trimmed high as my 13' plus tall 5th wheel had no opportunity for scratches.
