Nice campground. It is part of a larger manufactured home park, but they are very nice and very well kept. The RV Park is separate from the rest of the mobile home park. The rate is per night for a week. We paid $169 for the week. I would certainly stay here again. The only negative is the air traffic. This park is relatively close to the airport. You do hear the airplanes taking off and landing, but I would not let that stop me from staying again.
As the earlier updates have stated, the sites are very close, but certainly adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. There doesn't seem to be a lot of other campgrounds in the area. We stayed here so that we could tour San Francisco. Which we did both days that we we here. I would certainly stay here again.
We camped here in July. This is an excellent park. The price reflects the weekly rate. The management is extremely accommodating. I just can't say enough good things about this park. We've been RV'ing for about 4 years and full timing for the past month, and this is one of the nicest parks that we have come across. This park is a 10/10. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, don't miss this one!
This is a bare bones campground. We arrived in Durango with no reservations. Called a couple of campgrounds and they were all full. We were told by one of the campgrounds that Cottonwood did have sites available. We called: and the they did. We arrived to be greeted by a very nice lady and her husband. They let us have our pick of the sites. The park is old, and dusty, but quiet. The only problem that I had was the price: extremely over priced. But beggars can't be choosers. We would probably not stay here again: only because of the price. it would be a nice stopping place at about $20 per night.
This is a great park. It is located close to town on Highway 16 to the south. The sites were spaced very nicely with plenty of room and level. The park is well kept and we enjoyed walking down by the creek and the nature trail. All of the basics worked well (50 amp power, water, sewer). The park is next to the city airport but that is certainly no problem. We probably heard about 4 or 5 small planes a day. We stayed here about 8 or 9 days and would certainly come back. If you are going to Fredericksburg, don't miss this beautiful RV Park.
This is a family park right on the Comal River in downtown New Braunfels, Texas. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. When I made reservations, I thought that we would be staying in the Landa Municipal Park which is an excellent city owned park. But, I discovered upon our arrival that they do not have camping facilities. This Landa RV Resort Park is a private park. It appears to be an old park, all gravel, cramped, and very dusty. They cannot handle rigs over 35' although they did get us in with a 36' motorhome. There are several sites right on the Comal River, excellent for tubing, which is the big tourist attraction here in New Braunfels. Now that is the good part. The bad is that our site is within 150' of a very busy RR track. Hmmm, I don't remember seeing that on their web site! The trains come roaring through all the time, at least every 30 minutes during the day and it seems that often at night. You can feel it coming long before you ever hear the blast of the horns. We are pretty lucky in that some sites back up to within 20' of the train track. My wife and I have had a great time here simply because we can't stop laughing at how lucky we were to find this place. It reminds me of the episode of I Love Lucy, when Lucy and Ethel stayed in a small cabin near the tracks and every time the train roared through, there bed would rumble from one side of the room to the other. Yikes, I think I feel another one coming right now! &^%*&^%$#@! Can you feel it? We have 2 more nights to get through, because you can't cancel a reservation within 14 days of your stay. That should have told me something! OK, enough said. This is a great park if you love the rumble of freight trains and being awakened by the blast of an air horn 150' from your bedroom window in the middle of the night. Would I stay here again? I'd rather sleep in a cardboard box under a bridge!
This is an excellent park. We stayed here the month of June and had a great time. The owner is on site and very friendly. I can't say enough good things about this park. I would certainly stay here again.
This park in located in Crystal Beach, Texas: NOT Crystal City. It is located on the Bolivar Peninsula east of Galveston Island. The Peninsula is not an island, but a 30 mile long peninsula that runs from Galveston Rhodes waterway (Galveston Ship Channel) east to Wy 124. Texas Department of Transportation provides free ferry service from the east end of the island to the west end of the peninsula. This park is a bare bones park, but is clean and friendly. They do have laundry facilities and restrooms and showers. They also have a newly constructed Pavilion. We have stayed here several times and will certainly return. The small town of Crystal Beach is a typical little beach town with several good seafood restaurants, and some attractions for the kids, although the Gulf Beaches are certainly the draw. The beach is walking distance from the park, but not a short walk. The park is located right off the main beach Wy 87 running east to west. My final comments are that this is a park to which I will return. It is my opinion that the earlier review did not do this park justice. I've never seen any snakes or wild animals and there are kids all around having a great time camping with their families. I do consider their rates a little high, but this is tourist area. They do offer Passport America although they suspend that discount on weekends and holidays.
This is an excellent park. It is a destination park for the locals. It has a very nice water park and is by far the nicest county park that we have ever visited. I would certainly stay here again. If you are in this area, don't miss this park.
This is an excellent over night park. It is owned and run by the city and is well maintained. It is close to town and all the great restaurants in Lafayette. This is our second stay here and we would certainly stay here again. You can't go wrong with this site at this price.
This is an excellent state park in Florida. You will be about a 1/2 mile walk from the Destin beaches along a nature trail. the staff is very nice. The price is a bargain. I would certainly stay here again.
This is our second stay at this park. It is large and well cared for. The staff is very nice. The park is in Gulf Shores, Alabama and is near the gulf beaches: within walking distance. I would certainly stay here again.
This is an excellent over night park. Most campers seem to be seasonal, although several came in at night. Lots of shade, gravel and level sites. The price seems to about right. We would stay here again.
Park seems to be over priced. It is large and extremely wooded with dirt roads. I do not think that I would stay here again, mainly because of price. It would be a nice over night stop over at about 1/2 the price. They take no discount cards.
This is a very nice park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The campground is neat and well kept. We received the Passport America rate, and were treated very well. We would certainly stay here again. This is an excellent park for an overnight stay.
