There is really nothing I could say bad about this campground. Spacious sites, very friendly and helpful staff, caters to dog owners, close to attractions and stocked campstore. We stayed on Dune Grass Lane, backed up to Eagles Nest Golf Course, great site. We were here with 5 kids ranging in age from 10-18 and all found things to do.

A very nice, quiet campground. No golf carts or roudy campers. Seasonals are very clean and quiet. They don't allow garbage on sites or clothes lines, so everything looks very neat. All sites are gravel and grass no dirt. Lots of room between sites. We really didn't hear the highway with our windows open, the crickets were louder. Nice park and pool for our three kids. We will stay here again.

This campground was wonderful! We got a spot footsteps from the beach. We were here on spring break and there were plenty of open spots, they even let us check in early, 8 a.m. The pool was great fun and this time of the year it wasn't crowded. The staff was very friendly. I read a lot of reviews for this campground and it's a shame people judge a campground on the lack of responsibility on the campers part. We actually witnessed a woman in a golf cart run over a child, an adult woman, not a teenager. You can't hold the campground responsible for that. The only thing you can do is supervise your own kids!

What a fun campground. My kids and dog loved it. The sites were spacious and private. Staff were always readily available. Lots of activities for everyone, even in the rain there was a lot to do. We had one night of downpours and not one puddle anywhere. Check in was quick and staff was very friendly and helpful, they even joked with the kids. Security was great, you had to go through a gate using a key card. Snack bar at the pool had great pickings. We will definitely be back.

This was the first time at this park and most likely the last. First of all on the phone they were less then desirable, that should have been my first clue. The price for a campsite is for two adults and two kids, all others are extra. It's not like they have a lot of activities, if it rains, which it did, there is nothing. Check in is in the store so you have to wait in the line of kids buying candy and deal with a teenage cashier. When I asked for the activities list she said we only do things on weekends. Our site was nice enough, until it rained. In the morning we stepped out of our camper into three inches of water. We couldn't even sit outside. The campground was empty yet they chose to give us the lowest spot available so everything from the dirt road drained into our site. To top off the trip when we arrived home I spent an hour picking about one hundred pinhead size ticks off of my daughter. Not a relaxing vacation at all.

This was our first time at Alpine Lake, what a great campground. We didn't like the size of our first site so not only did they give us a new site but they gave us a choice from five and told us to just let them know which one we chose. We had a great time boating, fishing, swimming and just sitting by the fire. The employees were constantly driving around picking up garbage and cleaning the bathrooms. I even heard them telling kids to put on their helmets and to return to their sites during quiet time. My only complaint would be the other campers that do not watch their own kids, but I guess you will get that everywhere. We will definitely be back.
