Only visited A loop, but would not recommend that section for motorhome or trailers. Very tight narrow road with trees. Sites looked very small and difficult to back into.

My favorite Indiana State Park campground thus far! Very large & spacious campground. If you go to camp store during the day, you can purchase evening hayride tickets. Best sites are 83, 81, 49, 55, 165, 167 & 187. The outside lots of the VIP area (116-122 ), the grassy areas of (67, 68, 70 & 71) are great camping sites, as well. If going with a group, I recommend 90 & 100 or 111, 133, 129 & 128. Park itself is very large, so bring your bike or plan to drive if visiting trails and nature center.

Flat, level sites. Bathrooms in electric were surprisingly clean during Labor Day weekend. Very few water hookups at bath houses and was afraid hose wouldn't reach to fill trailer, but it did. Playgrounds could use a bit more equipment. No camp store, only firewood sales at gate. Best sites are 24, 40, 9, 11. If with a group, consider 54/55, 87/88 or 69/70.

This is a clean campground with full hookups. We stayed on site 9 which was on the river. Nice spot to fish, close to playground and quiet. This is a great weekend place to relax, but not much to do. Strawtown Koteewi park, however, is across the street which has an learning center and trails. Also, the staff informed us they were changing their dog policies. You'll need to register your dog with vet's information and rabies tag number. As a local, we'd consider visiting again if we wanted a quick getaway.

Turkey Run is one of our favorites! Wonderful trails of all levels! Traveling with 3 kids & 2 dogs and in our new travel trailer, I can tell you what we believe are the best sites. #7 has a good size grassy lot, #38 is large pull through site, #65 is a unique corner lot with a big tree, we stayed in #92/93 which are good together if you want space. #202 is a good spot if you want in the wooded valley and #223 & #224 are nice flat wooded spots. The trail that goes to the inn and connecting to the other main trails is by the playground by sites #40 & #60. If you plan on hiking a lot, you may want to be on this side of the campground (however you can drive over there too).
