We camped the week of June 26-July 2nd. We had front row site with bridge view. The sites were very tight. We could have our slide out but not our awning. I think the campground would do better to make 1 site for every 2 sites in that front row. They would have more satisfied customers if they offered a little more space. We camped with friends beside us and we put the vehicles on their lot and the picnic tables and fire dish on ours. We made do with the space the best we could. The upside is the view! It was beautiful! The entire lakefront area is open green space for all to enjoy. Everyone was very friendly, the kids loved the pool and we golfed several times at a great discount rate. All in all we had a great time in the area and we would return. We did check out the campground down the road: it was just as crowded with less amenities and a very small waterfront area.
Restrooms very small for all the sites, but clean, the kids enjoyed the pool. Sites were very very tight. Like a parking lot. I could have touched the camper next to me. No fires allowed unless you rented a fire pit from them! Tons of freeway noise! Would probably skip this place and pull into the Wall Mart parking lot next time!
We loved this place. We stayed in the ranch camp, and had a great site with a nice view and some privacy! Decent showers and laundry. There are about 5 different areas to pick from. The camp area between the pool and stables was full sun but all the other areas appeared spacious and at least partial shade; nice pool and store. Lots of open space to walk, ride bikes etc. Would defineately return!
A little deceiving, lake is really a rather small pond! No campfires are allowed and sites are a little close. Kind of parking lot-ish! The up side is that the restrooms/laundry and pool were very nice, and there was a fairly good view of mountains and we had elk that walked right through the park.
