Resort is on the water and has boat launch and large dock. Some lots are not completed, but all amenities are in place. We stayed for three nights and liked it so much we bought a lot. It is a Good Sam park and has a 10*10*10 rating. In 2012 it was rated as one of the top five resorts in Alabama.
One of the poorest campgrounds we have stayed at in Alaska. Sites were small even though we were told that they could accommodate 38' units. Electric was 30 amp plugs, but power was poor. We ran our generator any time we needed power and unplugged when absent to keep from harming converter (102 volts was normal). Sewer was a 55 gallon drum and overflowed on gray water dump only. Water was well water and we weren't comfortable using it even though we filtered it because of the sewer system. Grossly overrated in Trailer Life. Didn't get the impression that owners/managers cared-you couldn't get a refund after registering. This is an honest appraisal from someone that used to manage a campground.
