Stopped here for one night on our way back from a trip to New Hampshire. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the sites. The amenities at the site were well placed and all strong. The WiFi was strong as well, even though we were a good distance from the office. We didn't have cable but TV through the air antenna was quite good. The campground seems well situated in the area to see Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Letchworth State Park. We would definitely stay at this park again.
We stayed here for a week to explore the White Mountains. The sites were a good size although we had no one beside us thus making it comfortable for us. I would imagine it would be a little tight if we did have neighbours. It is basically a large parking lot divided into pull thru sites. The first problem we had was while plugging into the site pole our surge protector showed an open ground. Checked a site two over from us and the same result. We move to another site and it was OK. The WiFi was spotty at best and phone service was non-existent (to be expected in the mountains). Only 30 amp service but strong. Water pressure was very good and the cable was also very good. Now if the park were to fill up maybe these amenities might be strained. It is a good base for exploring the area and the price is reasonable. If they were to upgrade to 50amp service we might stay here again.
We only stayed here for one night but would definitely return. Seems to be an old KOA but the sites were nice and large, although where we were was more of and open area with no trees or shade. All of the amenities were within reach and strong. WiFi worked well. Groceries, fuel and other stores were nearby. As mentioned we only stayed for one night so don't know if there was much to see in the area.
Great on and off to I-75. For an overnight while traveling this place is great. I don't know if I would stay here for any length of time. It is a campground/motel combo, in amongst restaurants, other hotels and gas stations. You would think it would be noisy but it was quiet, clean, and all of the services worked very well. The sites are a little narrow and there are no shady sites. Cable and Wi-Fi worked well and the 50amp was strong. Having said that there were only two other trailers here at the time. We went out to eat at one of the restaurants within walking distance. All in all it was a plain campground, great amenities, easy and fast check in, and well worth the price for an overnight stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Typical KOA, friendly service at check in and were escorted to site. Was level side to side but a little off back to front(we didn't unhook tow vehicle). Site services all worked very well. Quick on and off to I-75 but right along the highway so road noise is very prominent. We had dinner brought to the trailer from the office. They have Pizza, wings and chicken tenders plus a couple of other items. The food was very good. Price is regular rate and that includes $2 for cable and $5 per device for WiFi(we only had one device) One of the reasons we don't have a KOA Card is the nickel and dime charges KOA has. The reason we stayed here was because it fit exactly into our timing for the trip home from Florida. We would consider staying here again.
Very clean quiet park. As mentioned before the road in was narrow and very bumpy, but not the fault of the campground (county road). We got here after dark and the package for our spot was there ready for us and was easy to find. Not very level site, but that could be due to the darkness and not being able to see properly. Hookups all worked very well. We stayed two days and would stay again. Rate reflects Passport America
