Lots of activities for children and well managed check-in. Standard 30A pull thru sites were very narrow and very slanted. We were unable to level our motorhome. Interior roads are also narrow with tight turns. We camped there one night while traveling and might stay there again for a single night, but would not make it a destination campground.
A very well managed park. The owners are extremely helpful with any problem. Restrooms and showers are spotless. Sites are very large, wooded and private unless you want one of the open sites near the office. Access is a bit tedious on a narrow winding roadway leading to a long dirt road access to the campground. Interior roads can pitch up and down sharply in keeping with the mountainous terrain, but are well maintained and easily accessible by even a very large rig as long as you do it slowly. We camped there for two weeks.
Very well managed park. Very family friendly activities. We opted for a standard size 30 amp site and found it to be very small for our 32' rig. The deluxe sites and 50 amp sites were much larger and well worth the price difference, if you do not like to be wedged in. Noise from the nearby Interstate highway was the only real negative and it was not too bad. We camped there for one week.
Sites are decent size, but consist of soft packed dirt. Our site, as well as others, was heavily rutted and sloped off badly towards the trees. Electrical hookups are a disaster. Many have taped on extension cord pigtails for you to plug into. Plugs range from one 50 amp plug to 15 amp plugs and the associated breaker may not match the plug. The cable TV is good, but the wires for it are scattered all over and laying on top of the ground. Management appears to be generally more concerned about their inn than their campground. We stayed there two weeks in a motorhome, but would not return again.
This is a good, basic campground with full hookups in the heart of the Adirondacks. Not fancy, no pool, no TV, and no kids activities. Roads are dirt but well maintained. Pads are also dirt and could be more level. The owners are friendly and very helpful with sightseeing information. Perks do include a blueberry patch and free firewood. We did not use the shower facility, but we know the owners cleaned it daily. Rates for a full hookup did not include electric. All sites have meters; we averaged 10KWH/day over a two week period which cost $2.25/day. We would be happy to return there again.
Park was well maintained with good family activities, a game room and a driving range. Owners were very active within the campground. Roads are dirt but well maintained. Sites are large grass pads and relatively level. The Wi-Fi was only good in the front campsites; otherwise you had to go to the game room for good reception We would camp there again.
