We stayed ten nights. We used the camp for a base to see area. We had a sunny/grassy site in front of office. Sort of semi circle with full hookup. Rest of park is behind the office. There are very wooded/dirt sites back there. Some full hookups in wooded area. Very small laundry area with people waiting at times. As others stated about the kids, we did not see any over the top kid routine. It was just normal stuff. Fair condition pool but cold. Fair condition mini golf. I heard trails do exist way to the back. Train is loud, but only comes by a few times a week. There is a land fill across the road but no real issues with this. Just noted. Dog friendly with no real rules. Wi-Fi good and Verizon signal excellent. We'd stay again. Price was steep for what you get, but it is close to all sites in area.
We stayed overnight on route home to Michigan. Friendly staff, pull through sites large. Easy to find close to I-75. Clean, hot showers. Very quiet at night, well lit. Has a pool area, not open this time of year. Playground and jumping pillow noted for kids. We would stop again during travel. Appears to be a nice warm weather camping spot for families.
Very friendly, just an overnight stop. Electrical on site was poor, ground fault interrupter kept tripping. Can walk to Walmart or to eat, so no need to unhook. Nothing to excite you here; just a place to sleep. Some permanent residents, all friendly. Has a "pool," but have never seen it open.
We stayed the month of Feb. Big resort. Very friendly, lots to do-you name it, it's here. Large outdoor and indoor pool areas. The new fitness center is outstanding. Family friendly, dog friendly, no apparent breed restrictions, but all well behaved. Lots of places to ride bikes and walk. The trail around Lake is very pretty. We felt comfortable here, and will return for sure. Our site was a little small in the Queen's area; will request King's area next time (These are RV only area's, other RV sites scattered through the park with park models) Quiet at night and near lots of other Sarasota sites. Had fun!
