We go to this campground once a year and although it shows signs of age it is still fairly nice. The bottom of part of the campground is a large field and we have never stayed in this part. We camped above the lake and it is much quieter than the rest of the park. The owner/manager has always been very accommodating to us and we have always enjoyed our time here.

We did not stay at this campground. Not sure campground is the right word. It is more like a trailer park with hundreds of campers jammed next to one another. Most of the sights appear to be seasonal. Everybody has a golf cart and a loud radio. This place reminds me of a large block party. We drove through, but did not stay. Would prefer Wal-mart parking lot over this campground. Sorry, but true.

This park is average in most respects although the river and the bike trail make it a better than average park. Our site was one of the new river front sites. Very nice view from camper of the river. We live locally and this is a nice park if you want to spend time in the river. A good weekend destination for canoe trips and spending a lazy day in the water.
