A storm was rolling in and we needed a place to stay. This was easy on and easy off. Our 43 ft RV and tow did not entirely fit in the site. Website claims cable, but the sign in the Welcome Center states no cable and no Wi-Fi. Park needs a major overhaul. Park is very unkempt. We were grateful for a place for the night, but this is not a resort and it is not worth the price. No one in the office, but the lady was nice over the phone.
This is mainly a working person's park. It has a lovely pool, hot tub, exercise room, and pool table. Grounds are kept neat and clean. It is next to an international airport and railroad tracks, so you get noise from planes, trains, and automobiles. We had a problem with area dogs roaming the campground and trying to get to know my dog. This park is not really for RV people, it is for long-term working people. Amenities are nice. I would rate it higher, but the stray dogs and train horns were a problem. Also, I thought the monthly rate was very high.
We had a concrete, water view site. This is our 2nd time here. The site had an old piece of carpet, cigarette butts, bottle tops, and dog pooh. We had 10 strays the first day, and 6 strays the second day. Owner claims the stray dogs running the park are not his. Kids next door shot BB guns in the water. Four-wheelers ran through the park after 10 pm. Kids were unsupervised. Also put in a space that was not large enough to accommodate our rig and tow. We were not sure if we would return to this park because the views are gorgeous. However after reporting problems to the owner with no resolve, we will probably not stay here again.
Park is clean and quiet. The rate reflects a 10% Good Sam discount. We stayed two nights and were charged for a late check out. The price is high for not having any amenities. No pool, no hot tub, no cable TV. I would suggest getting a rate quoted to over the phone or internet before arrival.
