Trailer Village is very convenient for visiting the Grand Canyon, but Xanterra really needs to spend the money and upgrade this park. Park is clean, but run down; roads are broken up with lots of potholes. Xanterra employee housing is located on both sides of the RV park; the trailer housing on the east side is not well maintained. The good news is you can walk from your RV to the bus stop and ride the bus throughout the Village, and to the new visitor center (a must see). The grocery store and deli are also within walking distance.
This park is well maintained, has dirt/gravel roads and sites, and lots of trees: just what campgrounds should be like. has a very helpful and friendly staff. Office has a small store with snacks, drinks, and a sitdown sandwich shop. Hosts take you to a site. Can have full hookups, electric and water, electric only, or no hookups (but no generators allowed in this park).
The sweet smell of orange blossoms welcomes you to this park. Surrounded by orange groves, with sites separated by sculpted orange trees, arriving here was a welcomed sight. Park is clean, well maintained, and has all pull throughs, free Wi-Fi, phone sites, a pool, laundry, showers, and restrooms. Propane is available at $2.50/gal. There was some freeway noise, but not bad. In season, you can pick your own oranges. Check for rules and details at the office.
This is a very clean, well run park along the Colorado River, with pull through and back in sites. The store has a good selection of camping gear, clothing, food, snacks, and RV supplies. Laundry facilities were very clean ($1.50 wash/$1 dry). Park staff was very helpful; even to suggesting we check out the sites for one with a shade tree.
This is a very clean, well organized, huge park. Pool facilities were very nice and not overly crowded. Reception staff and the man who helps you park your vehicle were very helpful and friendly. The library had a good selection of books - take one, leave one. With over 9 miles of roadways within the park, you can get all the exercise you need. This park is very good for those who need lots of activities available during the day. We stayed here two nights.
A good, clean place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Large sites are a plus. Laundry facilities are clean and reasonably priced. Doc and Christine make everyone feel very welcomed. Simple, usually one a day, activities for those who want to be included. This is an independent-style park for those who don't need their day-time hours filled with preplanned activities. A very good, multiple trail system just outside the park. No showers or restroom available, must be self-contained.
