We stayed overnight on our way home. Nice clean casino but pricy for a casino RV park. We stayed in the long sites due to concern over our slides rubbing against the trees when they were extended on the cheaper sites. On the longer pull through sites be aware that all hookups are at the back end of the site. This means that you will need an extra long sewer hose if you pull thru so you don't have to unhook, unless your sewer hookup is in the very rear of you camper. WE would stay again as we pass through St. Louis.
Nice clean KOA. Gravel interior roads and sites. Site have a very slight slope probably to help with water run off. We had a very late check in and the office put the map in a very easy to locate spot. Had no trouble finding out site in the dark. Not many trees, but very well maintained and mowed. We would definitely stay here again.
Typical KOA. Nice campground but starting to show its age. Has a train track running on the opposite side of the office from the campsites. Could hear train blow whistle every time they came through the area. Otherwise nice and quiet. Staff very helpful in finding alternate route back to interstate due to construction. We would stay here again.
My wife made reservations for this campground based upon previous reviews. The campground was run down weeds/grass growing up though the sites. Lots of permanent run done RV's. Sites were tight. Would not recommend this park for any reason. One is a low as I can go.
We stayed here after having a bad experience at another park. This KOA was clean and neat. Water was toward the front of the site while the power and sewer hookups were toward the back. We traveled in a 38' rig with a tow vehicle and did not have to unhook before we got to our pull through site. We would stay here again.
Nice level sites. Easy in and out for our 38' rig. Nothing fancy. Staff was friendly and had an escort to the site. $25 charge for not picking up after your pet. (Great idea). Very convenient to Mammoth Cave NP. We would stay here again.
Good Campground. Concrete pads. Several pads were doubled up but we weren't. Not pet friendly. Asked to take dogs out of the park and across busy street to the Katy Depot trail to walk them. We would stay here again.
Pretty average KOA. We paid extra for a paved site with patio and furniture. Most are just gravel with grass on the side. Friendly site. I90 easily accessable so we could do more than Mt. Rushmore. KOA only about 2.5 miles from interstate. Easy in and out. Daily all you can eat pancake breakfast ($). Friendly and helpful staff. Clean park. Located on top of a hill so there are good views. Very little street noise. Would Stay again. Price include KOA discount.
Very well kept park. Established in 1965 but has not have the "run down" feel of the older parks. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 38' RV with a tow vehicle and some of the turns were a little tight. We had a pull-through site but had to back up into the empty site behind us to pull out as the front of the pull through was too tight. Our site was not level, had to use blocks under the tires but notice other motorhomes in sites further down the hill did not have to do so. Close to the interstate so there was a constant noise 24/7. Nice shaded site. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice park. All site are fully concrete pads, including patio. No trees or any planted. Landscape is well mowed grass between each site. Pool was clean. Great fenced in dog run. Very clean and well kept. Gated access after hours. Arrived Memorial Day and office closed but information left on office door with easy to follow map. Slight noise from interstate but have has worse. Would definitely stay here again.
