A pretty and picturesque park The sound of the fast moving stream was wonderful. The campground is neat and well attended to. It is very tight for big rigs. No pull through sites and very little turning room on the interior roads and when backing into the spots. Satellite access is poor due to the tree canopy. Not much for the kids to do in the park. Highlights are: it's neat, quiet, friendly, and has a wonderful fast moving stream.
It has been raining since we got here but the park is very enjoyable. It's neat, tidy, well organized and well run. In excellent repair and modern. This is a very quiet area, no road noise with beautiful views of French Broad River Valley. Only "down" sides are that it doesn't have a pool or hot tub and it is kind of tight if driving a big rig. The sites are nice and good sized, but the roads up to the campground are tight. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Asheville.
This is truly a resort type facility. Concrete pads and parking aprons, well manicured grounds, large sites, beautiful club house and pool. No road noise, no train sounds, nothing but the relaxing sounds of nature. Very convenient to I-75 being only 3 miles due east. Located between Ocala and Gainesville makes it very convenient. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. This is a fantastic overnight stop and an even better destination location. The golf course is alot of fun. Great fishing in Orange lake. AND if you are a Passport America member the daily rate is a steal at $13.50 from April to October. We will be back often.
Great location. You can walk to anyplace in the town within 5-10 minutes. Only 3 blocks to the entrance to Yellowstone NP. This park is maintained very well. Spotless and well manicured. The staff is super nice and very helpful. It is very quiet, the sites are moderate size but we spent most of our time seeing the NP or this quaint and beautiful little town. You can even wash your rig at your site. This is definitely the nicest and best appointed RV park in the area.
