Wow, if you travel this way stop here. Big rigs, leveling, Wi-Fi, local TV stations, quiet, well run. Host are VERY helpful. It is off the highway a few miles near a Wal-Mart (2 miles). Quiet, relaxing, and designed for short stays. I agree bathhouse is old but well built and clean with laundry and nice showers. We lucked into finding this, after several problems with flooding this place is nice.
This is a perfect park for overnight or a few days. Great host, quiet, very clean bathhouse, easy in and out for the largest rigs. Easy access to Wall-Mart. We stayed 3 days and everyone we talked to agreed this was a great RV park. Just off the highway but VERY quiet. The host are active and helpful.
Nice state park. Full hookups and some local TV. We were evacuated after 5 days because the creek overflowed our site but it wasn't a problem, we could move to higher ground. You can get WiFi at the conference center and they have a nice lake and some hiking trails. Has super bike trails of all levels. Bathhouse was clean.
Excellent for hiking. Great place to relax. Hiking at all levels and awesome views of canyon and falls. There are "gray water" tanks through out that are good if you have a portable tank. Dump station is far off. Bath houses are clean. We did spend a night in one during a tornado warning. On the property is some private residences that are so junky they distract from the overall beauty of the park. Really need to get the health dept out here to check on them. They are not near the campsites but you see them if you go to the center. Overall, I recommend this campground, especially if you hike.
