Very nice park. Geared to seasonals, but they have overnight spots. Sites are narrow, but paved, with grass in between sites. Wi-Fi (Tengo Internet) is somewhat irritating to use, but once you get online it is satisfactory. We planned on staying 3 days and ended up staying 6. Very friendly staff.
This is a great park, with wide level sites (although they were gravel) that were long enough that we would not have had to disconnect our truck from the 40 foot rig. Being right in the middle of an orange grove was really neat. Good Wi-Fi, water pressure, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? We would gladly stay here again.
Park staff were very friendly and helpful, but that could not make up for the lack of cable (which their website says they have), the WIFI that was next to useless, and the sites that are very close together. This is not a satellite friendly park and we would not stay here again.
Let us begin with the good. Park is easy to find, the sewer, and electric were as they should be. The full hookup sites are all the way to the back of the park and there is no way you will receive WI-FI without going up near the office. When we pointed that out to the lady at the office, she said hers worked fine and she had nothing more to say. It is a stretch to call this big rig friendly. The only way our 40ft 5th wheel would fit is if our truck blocked the road, so we had to disconnect (not good for overnight stays). When we called for a reservation we mentioned we had a dish on the roof that would require clear access to the south. The first site they tried to put us in had a beautiful shade tree (your right) blocking any view of the southern sky. They moved us to a more open spot which worked fine. The last issue was with the water pressure., My pressure gauge read 30 lbs. until you turned on a faucet and then it went to 10 lbs. and stayed there. My wife tried the shower at the office building and said it had the same problem. We will not be staying here again.
This is a great park for an overnight stay, close to IH 37, but not a lot of highway noise. Some construction and pipeline folks stay here, but the spaces are large and well spaced (although they are gravel). The park has well water, and they tell me it does not taste too good, but we did not use it. They did provide a gallon of water at check in for coffee and drinking, a nice touch. We would stay here again.
