What can I say - - this is the finest example of an RV resort I have seen. What we liked best: 1. The site is magnificently landscaped by a professional architect. It looks new. Well laid out in every detail. 2. Fantastic indoor pool. This very high ceilinged building means that chlorine fumes don't build up like the do in so many indoor pools. This is a great design for swimming. 3. The showers and bathrooms are like pristine. I used the shower room and it was like a private club. 4. The dog walk area was grassy and nice 5. Nice surrounding scenery. 6. Price is great. What we didn't like: 1. The Wi-Fi was nearly useless. We had maybe a few minutes at 5 am when you could get on it. Otherwise no joy at all. 2. The sites are a bit too close. If you like privacy this isn't really it. A great place. We'd go back any time.
This is a terrific RV park in wonderful Ft. Bragg area. It is very close to downtown, and very close to the Hwy 20 and 101 intersection. Here's what we liked: 1. Very private and large sites that have tall bushes and trees on the sides to create privacy. You almost don't see anyone around you. 2. You don't hear the highway at all. 3. You feel like you are camped in the woods. 4. The location is very close to many great beaches and coastal recreation. Lots to do! 5. The Tengo WiFi worked fantastic. As fast as our home broadband. This is unusual for WiFi to work so well in a camp ground. The TV worked well too. We would give it higher marks except it doesn't have things like a swimming pool, which many of the "10" rated RV resorts would have. So the "8" is just a reflection of it being a bit more basic than a resort. We looked today at the other RV parks in this area and they are not nearly as nice. If coming to Fort Bragg, this is the place to stay.
We enjoyed it a lot. The sites are shady, the grass is green. The pool is wonderful. There are 3 small things I didn't like: 1. The Wi-Fi is slow - very slow 2. The cable TV was really snowy 3. There is a steep grade on Hwy 101 right above the sites and the noise of trucks trying to make the grade is a little on the annoying side. Everything else is A+. We will definitely visit again.
