Nice little park right off of I-40. There is a little noise from bigger trucks, but the wind is usually blowing so it drowns it out. There is a nice lake that is an easy walk from the park. There is a nice big playground for the kiddies and a fenced area for the dogs. A couple of the turns into the sites are tight because of trees on the inside of the corner. Dryers were $.50 for 20 min. and $1.25 for washers. Cable TV was OK; a couple stations were fuzzy, but watchable. Also have a long cable TV line; the cable hook ups are at every other site. Good little restaurant with a limited menu that will deliver to your site. Very friendly staff. Would come back again.

Another typical OK state park and very crowded in the summer. Locals bring their trailers up on Wednesday or Thursday for the weekend. Luck has to be on your side to get a site. Good paved roads and dirt/gravel sits that are fairly level. Loud partying neighbors and most sites are really close to each other. For weekend camping would recommend Mountain Park at Tom Steed lake by Snyder, OK.

Quiet park, out of town but still easy to get to I40. Sharp turns at the end of the rows and was very dark at night. The sewer dump was at the end of the site, no fun with middle tanks. Park was empty, roads/sites are gravel, and was put in a pull-thru on a hill. My trailer tongue was 3 feet off the ground to level it. There is a walking trail they were building a new area that still looked hilly. Would stay somewhere different just because of the hilly sites.

Nice staff that were helpful getting us a ride to the Big Tex, limo with horns on the front. Campground is close to the airport, not busy but occasional noise. Big dip when coming off of the main road, had to work the angles to not scrape. Sites were gravel and level, no trees where the pull thrus are. Pricey for what was there.

Great park to spend the weekend in Amarillo, close to great shopping and good food. The gift shop is something to see and it keeps the wife busy while I get the rig settled in. Nice pet area, 4 stalls that are lit. Easy entrance and exit. The lots are separated by a little wooden fence and have concrete porches, gravel and some need a little leveling after the rains. Decent cable tv and wifi can be slow at peak hours. Stayed here 3 times and will stay again.

Typical state park with lots of hiking and quiet. This is a great little area to get away and enjoy the weekend. 3 separate areas to camp, even has a point that can be rented for large groups. Seasonal bait shop has small snacks, nearest town is around 8 miles. Sites are spread out so you don't have that on top of each other feeling. Some paved sites with sewer, most are gravel with electric and water only.
