I can't believe I stayed at the same place as these other people. Our space was way off level, covered with debris from the trees, fire ring filled with unburned trash, the outlet cover for the phone jacks was broken off, people coming in at all hours of the night, tenters with a huge fire screaming and raising he!! late into the night. I don't know the price per night as we purchased a package deal with boat ride. It was dark and no view at the space we were in. You will not find us here again.
This could be a nice place but right now the building construction on the east side and interchange construction on the west side render it a noisy nightmare. Also our last night upon arriving found our camper completely infested, inside and out, with ants coming up the water and power lines. We used the trolley system to get to the strip and consumed about 3 hours each way just to get to the strip. We won't go here again for a long time.
This was a nice place to stay. As already mentioned the tv was very poor quality and the only reason I didn't rate it a 10. I was able to use the wifi with a Hawking dish antenna but it was usually slow. Other rv facilities should use this place as an example of "how to build an rv park". We will definitely go back.
This could have been a much higher rated rv park. When checking in I politely asked for a site away from most of the other campers and was told I didn't need one. I was put right next to two hunters who barbequed, built a wood fire, got drunk, talked loud, slammed doors, and parked their running truck right behind my back door. Everyone that came in after me was put in the back of the park away from others. Because of this I have nothing good to say about this place or the people running it.
Quiet campground with several sites right on the Rio Grande River. Lots of shady spots, somebody checking things frequently. Laundry room was very clean, we did not use showers and rest rooms. If you like walking there is a shady, quiet residential area right next door. The small town of South Fork is 4 miles West where you can find just about anything at the Rainbow Grocery and Hardware store. We would stay again if looking for full hookups in the area.
One of the worst campgrounds I have stayed in. Muddy horse manure filled, pot-holed roads. Broken sewer connection at my site. About 100 cigarette butts in fire ring, counter person didn't know how to access wifi (couldn't get a signal right by the office anyway), might be nice for horse people. We payed for 2 nights then decided to leave as the grounds were so muddy we couldn't sit outside, we were right next to road with big trucks hauling rocks at high speed just a few feet from our site. They would not refund our second nights fee because our reasons weren't good enough. We left anyway rather than stay in this poorly maintained place.
Nice campground, well kept, owner super nice and helpful. An oasis in an area without many campgrounds. Free, fast wifi. Set your trash out and they will dump it for you. Not a lot of shade but owner's can-do attitude more than makes up for that minor thing.
