Rate is now $12.50 with Passport America. Terrible, depressing campground if you intend on staying more than 10 hours. Perfect if you just need a place to sleep with electricity, water, and sewer. Price went up from $11. Cannot pinpoint any improvement made to the facilities. Free envelope to put your money into to pay. That's something I guess. You will hear planes, trains and automobiles, but if you are just here for a few hours, you won't mind. We have stayed here several times and have yet to see any sort of owner, manager, or employee at this place. We are self contained, so it is not a big deal. It is just a place to sleep for us. Where is the pride of ownership of the owner/manager?
Prices have increased quite a bit ($20 last time) since we last visited. Some changes, no more long-term residents and the RV area has been graded and oiled. Still no sewage service. WiFi is fairly reliable. Friendly management.
Rate was 250 pesos a night. Free Wi-Fi signal almost reached our unit. Improved electric and water connections. Very quiet, except for lots of fireworks as part of a religious holiday. A few friendly dogs run loose in the place. There is a mall and an OXXO within 1 km.
It was exactly what we wanted & needed to visit San Francisco and vicinity. We walked to the ferry daily which took us right to downtown SF. From there we walked or jumped on their transit (trolley, streetcar, light-rail or bus). The management was very knowledgeable and helpful with our SF visit plans. We got a Good Sam discount. They also have a 7th night free promo when we were there that we missed. If you plan on using the ferry, get a clipper card free from the machine It saves a ton on the ferry fee! Note that the ferry service is limited on weekends.
I think there is some confusion on the reviews here, Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park is NOT located behind the Heartbreak Hotel. That is the Graceland RV Park. The Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park is just a little further from Graceland, but is not well maintained or well managed like the other park. It is ok, a little run down with disinterested management. They do take passport America for one night, so it is cheaper. Some sites are nicer than others.
