Started out with a 10 rating: Deduct 2 for road noise 24/7. Deduct 1 for limited 50 amp site availability. Deduct 1 for poor and intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity. Deduct 1 for lack of grass between sites (mostly weeds and sticker bushes). Overall very friendly host, well kept park, and views of mountains and river. Fishing very poor in river and owners require catch and release along their stretch.
Contrary to previous reviewer: breakfast is not included it costs $5 and don't waste any money on it. Cable is terrible, wi-fi is so slow that it is not worth connecting. Sites have side by side hookups. If you have anyone next to you, they better be good friends. Extremely noisy at 7AM with trash trucks, tour buses, road noise, and, of course, the post office you are backed up to. Would never stay here again.
Wide, long pull through sites, but only 30 amp in these. Lots of trees so satellite can be difficult. WiFi signal weak and slow. Great park for an overnight stop. Quiet, adult park with mostly long term residents in the 50 amp, back in locations. Laundry facilities are good at only $1 per wash and dry. Would stay here again.
Great park, level sites with good utility access. Water pressure and electric hookups were very good. Family friendly, friendly and courteous staff. Close to Glacier Park for easy day trips. Some train noise, but it didn't bother us. Would stay here again.
Very clean, beautiful location, widely spaced sites, Wi-Fi OK, close to major attractions. Small laundry room with no hot water! Water requires filtration or plan on brown stains in your toilet etc. Owner can be less than personable, rules seem to be written daily. Water pressure varies but usually OK. Owners seem to spend more time on their rental business (cars, ATVs, etc) than being good hosts to the campers. Workcamping probably not a good idea here!
Beautiful park, super friendly and helpful staff. Super clean restrooms, large laundry facility. Plently of room for big rigs and satellite reception in front area only. Traffic noise is tolerable with very little later in evening. Close to town and other scenic areas. Highly recommend for your next stay!
Helpful management, easy access for big rigs with some long pull thrus. Clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Overall the park is more like a campground setting, not very pretty with mostly weeds between sites with some gravel. Large trees will block satellite in most areas. Would stay here again though, as it was quiet and close to town, Estes park etc.
Clean park with all the desired amenities - WiFi,cable tv, pool, luandry, showers etc. Long pull thrus, easy access for any size rig. Close to Hwy 79 so road noise is a problem if you camped on east side of park. Daily rate reflects Passport price - a bargain for this park. Would rate higher but not a great location, no trees, no shade, out in open prairie - not a problem if you using this as a base to visit the sights and like the isolation.
Found park based on reviews I read on this website. Great park, small, convenient to I-90, long level pull thrus, hook-up facilities excellent,Free WiFi and extended channel TV cable also!! Super value, great customer service - perfect for an overnight or extended stay! Highly recommended!
Great park for the adults - no children activities and they let you know that up-front. Well laid out sites, some difficult to level for big rigs. Mostly W/E sites unless you reserve well in advance for a sewer site. Pump out service and dump station on site. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful location, clean and well kept up. Would highly recommend!!
Under new management so this review is based on current conditions. Park is clean, good interior roads. Sites are long with sufficient room for big rigs and slides. Few trees so satellite OK. Low water pressure - very dirty water requires filtration!! Rest rooms and laundry very dirty, dated, need replacement - no cooling evident. would only use this park for an overnight, about three miles west of I57, some road noise from busy road adjacent to park. Owners very accommodating and will probably clean this park up given enough time to make required updates.
Small park on a busy street, considerable road noise. Sites are fairly close together with little room for tables or chairs. Grassy sites (owner requires you cut your own grass or pay her $35 a month if you are staying for 30 days or longer.) No laundry facilities, small shower/toilet/sink area - soap & water to wash up but no towels provided! Good for overnight stay if it is close to where you want to be otherwise I would search elsewhere. Only plus is free Wi-Fi is available and works well, no cable TV tho.
Clean park, friendly staff, big rig friendly although sites are close together. May require some manuvering due to utility placements. Would rate higher but train noise could be bothersome at some sites.
Very clean, well landscaped and maintained park. Big rig access with sufficient room between sites. Set on multiple levels with lower level right beneath train tracks - avoid these sites! Staff was pleasant and helpful, stayed on upper level by laundry and office - would come back!
Clean, quiet, lots of trees. Pleasant staff, fairly adequate for big rigs. Sites a little too close for me, step out of rig on wet grass - also not long enough for our 40' fiver and MDT. Extra parking can be a long walk away.
Clean park, friendly staff, well maintained grounds. Good access for big rigs, some sites a little close. Came for a week - stayed a month. Only negative is train noise - didn't bother us but could some others.
Large, well laid out sites. Wide streets which makes big rig access very accessible. Lots of trees, limits satellite access. Clean campground, friendly staff, would camp here again. Only negative is freeway noise.
Very clean, lots of trees, close to shopping and freeway acess. Would rate higher but sites are narrow, utility access restricted, requires extra long sewer and electrical cords. Access streets to most sites make it difficult to maneuver large rigs, placement of landscaping, sewer, electrical makes it almost impossible to park a unit like ours. Would not return here.
Not much to do in Arco,ID, but if you travel thru here, be sure to stay at this park. Great owners, super clean, grassy sites with lots of room between them. Big rig accessible, great satellite reception, power and water pressure superb! Free breakfast too!!!
Great little park on the Salmon river. No cell service, owners advised us of this when we made reservation, but a phone is provided in the office for use with a calling card. Beautiful, well laid out park, super friendly owners!! Would have stayed for weeks if the Montana fire smoke didn't run us out.
Nice little private campground in the trees. Lots of shade, thus no satellite reception. Local TV available on antenna, Wi-Fi works OK. A little pricey with no amenities, but the seclusion and friendliness of the owner makes up for it. Plenty of room for big rigs.
Beautiful park setting, very little shade. Clean and well managed park. Desk help new so not very organized or efficient at check in. Park is advertised as big rig friendly - sites for the most part can accept big rigs, but some turn ins are difficult to negotiate due to placement of trees. Hook-ups require extra length hoses and run uphill. Sites are narrow, close together, and very hard to level your rig. Not longer enough for a 40 fifth wheel and tow vehicle. Probably would not return here.
Beautiful park with very long pull thrus. Shaded areas so only a few sites have satellite access. Would have rated higher but lack of sufficient water pressure and intermittent power losses, low power made for some inconvenience. Laundry room was clean (no A/C), inoperable dryer was not repaired during our two week stay. Would not visit here again in the summer - over 100 most days.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Great park on the river with beautiful views! Close to yellowstone, level sites with grass between. Only negatives would be: close sites, tight turns for big rigs, lots of insects at night due to proximity to river. Would come back!
Clean park with lots of shade, close to Utah Lake. Easy access for big rigs, great owners, helpful staff. Only complaints are bugs and mosquitos (not campground fault), large trees block satellite access in most sites, many permanent residents but this not detract from overall rating of park.
